Good night, Irene ...
The eye of Irene is currently right on the Virginia/North Carolina border, which means that we're in the midst of the worst. Thankfully (and amazingly) we've only had the power blink a few times--many friends and co-workers in the 'burbs are reporting their power's been out for four or five hours. Lots of rain, lots of wind, a few trees down here and there--and one in front of our place is leaning dangerously close to our porch roof--but overall we're good so far.
