…Once more into the breach dear friends, as I remembered I haven’t updated these parts for some time.
I have returned from a rather mediocre week in Aberystwyth, which has had its small successes, although I am very glad to be home. Arguably, my joy to have arrived was catalysed by the incompetence of the rail service - I don’t know if I spoke for all of the passengers when I translated ‘Unfortunately due to staff shortages, this train is cancelled’ to ‘Sorry, we are extremely stupid and forgot to employ a train driver’. Needless to say, I had a few choice words for the ticket inspector, and long story short, I’m probably not welcome back on ‘Arriva Trains Wales’. Nevertheless, I landed at home a mere six hours after leaving, which I’m sure we can all agree is a great time for 100 miles of travel. Bastards.
All this disregarded, I do have direction with my studies finally, and we shall see how they progress over the next month or so. I should be more positive about it. It was good to catch up with a few people too - Though with honesty, it depresses me to see people making literally no development in their lives at all, it reminds me how little I’m moving forward. This year will reap some massive changes for me, this I am sure of.
Not in the mood for my usual non-sensical rant, I used up my outspoken-anger-quota yesterday at a man on a train. To be fair, I’m not even sure if anyone reads this anymore, and in saying that, I may well be talking to myself. If this is being read by any of you, let me know how you’re doing.
