A Good Soul-mate For Rufus?
In your opinion who would make the ideal lover for Rufus Shinra? I find it odd that most people describe him as one of the most attractive Final Fantasy characters of all time, yet he doesn't have any kind of romantic love story. I know he was introduced as an antagonist, but I think he was more of an anti-hero then anything, even in Advent Children; of course he was sincere about his reformation. Anyway, I was thinking for a good while about the possible pairing for him. Before I reveal this person, let's briefly point out his characteristics. He's very sneaky; no longer coldhearted, has a sense of humor, very skilled with firearms, fearless, and is man enough to admit his mistakes. If I left out anything, feel free to let me know. ^^;
I'm thinking Yuffie would be a good lover for Rufus. They are so similar and I think their respective personalities would balance things out. Yuffie seems to need a man who can provide for her, won't be afraid to speak his mind, can handle her overwhelming personality, and of course be able to protect her when the time is right. Call me crazy but I think Rufus qualifies. As for Rufus, it is a bit hard to say what kind of woman he needs. I suppose one that will just be at is side and be supportive of his work. And Yuffie has known to be comforting in a few scenes in FF7, and no doubt Rufus is troubled. So it would be cool for him to have Yuffie talk things through with him.
