Personal Space [log]

Who: Slayer [dandy_step] and Taki [sanctumhuntress], with a guest appearance by Slayer's wife, Sharon.
When: Tonight (Oct. 16)
Where: Taki's apartment
Summary: Taki is sexually harrassed by Slayer's wife! Oh, and then there's some foreshadowing about something or other, but that's really not the important thing here.

Taki sighed as she approached her apartment, trying to will her sixth sense to stop screaming "THERE IS SOMETHING HERE LOOK LOOK THERE IT IS" for once that night and be quiet. After all, if it was in her apartment, she had a damn good idea of who it was--and Slayer, despite being quite an annoyance from time to time, never really meant her any harm. Although she still readied her hand to grab a weapon in an instinctive defensive gesture, she made no attempt to disguise her presence, even calling out, "Slayer, if that's you, get the hell out," as she closed the door behind her. She was sore from work, and wanted nothing more than to get out of her work clothes and into a nice, hot shower.

Slayer, of course, was on her couch, listening to the radio and sipping some tea. "Evening, dear. I do believe I shall stick around for a while instead. I brought some tea if you would like some." He smiled as Phantom of the Opera came on, before saying "I love that production. Classic. You have to find an old album. Simply classic." He chuckled, flipping through a paper-back he'd picked up from the table. "These aren't completely horrible, I must say. Of course they're not good in the slightest, but they aren't total garbage."

Absolutely nothing of Taki's was sacred. Nothing.

As soon as she was close enough to do so, Taki removed one of her armguards and promptly threw it at his head. Affectionately, of course. "Not right now. I had a long night at work." With that, she stepped closer, though that had more to do with the coffee table than him. As soon as she was close enough to it, she stripped off her other armguard, shoulder pads, and weapon holsters, leaving her... well, not bare above the waist, but she might as well have been considering her top consisted of nothing but a few scraps of spandex held together with fishnet. Giving him a look that clearly said 'touch these things and I will find a way to kill you until you die from it,' she turned and walked toward her bathroom.

Slayer casually plucked the armguard out of the air, before examining it. "Hmm. Mediocre equipment. Is this standard issue? Shameful. Your line of work, somebody with even low-grade super-strength would break these like tea-cups." Eyeing the shoulder guards, he paused, before saying "Why would you need to guard your shoulders? The best these could do would help you ram somebody, but you'd need proper spikes for that. They're practically trying to get you killed..." And while he was on the path of insulting everything she owned, "Oh, by the way, you really have to replace those curtains. Horrible color choice, doesn't match the place at all. Sharon agreed with me."

Taki paused in mid-step, thinking over everything he'd just said. "I know. They are. It is. Probably. I don't know. Yes. Probably. Okay. That's true. Did she?" For a brief moment, she considered asking when Sharon had been there, but then decided she was better off not knowing. His grievances properly addressed, she began to move again with single-minded determination and slipped inside the bathroom, fully intent on taking a shower... and possibly not coming out again until he left. She didn't need the stress at that moment.

Slayer shrugged as she went into the bathroom, and immediately returned to his show-tunes. The Producers was coming on, "That Face" specifically. "Wonderful night for music. Haha!" He sipped the tea and smiled as it went on.

Meanwhile, in the bathroom, a little woman with long black hair poked her head from behind the shower curtain, quite certainly nude. Spotting Taki, she tilted her head and waved.

While eyeing Taki's...assets.

Taki froze and stared at the woman, eyes wide in a mixture of confusion and embarrassment. She also couldn't help but to notice that she was being... eyed in a way that made her distinctly uncomfortable. It was the same sort of eying she broke men's arms over.

From Slayer's point of view, there would have been a short pause, followed by an almost frantic struggle with doorknob to fling the door back open. Leaning out to stare at the man on her couch, she asked in a deceptively calm voice, "...Slayer? Why is there a woman in my shower?"

Slayer looked up from his tea, before saying "Oh, that's Sharon. I forgot to mention she was here. She's mute, by the way, so you'll have to play charades a little bit to understand her. Don't mind her." With that, he returned to his tea nonchalantly.

Meanwhile, Sharon was trying to get Taki's attention, motioning for Taki to...join her in the shower. Not very subtly either, actually tugging specifically up on her shirt.

Taki opened her mouth with the very specific purpose of asking how Slayer could forget to warn her that his wife was in her shower, when the tugging started. Yelling, "Stop that!" a bit louder than absolutely necessary, she whirled around and aimed a punch for the other woman's face, not expecting it to actually make contact. This was Slayer's wife she was talking about, after all, so she doubted getting her to stop doing things she didn't like would be that easy.

Sharon literally just stood there and took the hit straight to her face. As the hand literally rebounded off of her face, she blinked, smiled, and then proceeded to reach out and...grope Taki in the most...gropeable place. All while smiling that inviting, horribly suggestive smile.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you, she's bisexual, so you may want to watch out."

Taki just sort of... blinked as her hand bounced back, ignoring the fact that she felt like she had just punched a brick wall in favor of wondering 'WHAT THE HELL.' The fact that she honestly should not have been surprised was far from her mind. As she was groped very much against her will, she made an odd, strangled sound of rage, somewhere between 'extremely pissed off' and 'enraged' at her current situation and inability to retaliate. Attempting to step back out of Sharon's reach, she declared, "I told you to STOP!"

Slayer perked up, noticing the violence. "Oh, I wouldn't try that. Sharon's practically indestructible. Nothing touches her, sticks to her, hurts her, nothing. Quite useful for a vampire. And good looking to boot." Sharon winked back to Slayer, before beginning to pout at Taki. Literally, if she was capable of sound, Sharon would've found some way to say ":(" as she took her hands off Taki.

That didn't stop her from looking at them, of course, but she'd give Taki her space. While still rather nude. "Sharon, put a towel or something on! It's rude to walk around in a host's home in the nude."

"....:(..."

Taki returned Sharon's pout with a look of pure... well, not so much loathing as 'you are never coming within arm's length of me again, or so help me God.' There really wasn't much point in bothering to direct malice at something you couldn't stab in the neck, as far as she was concerned. In a desperate attempt to get her to stop staring, she folded her arms over her chest defensively.

Whirling around to glare at Slayer as he directed the admonition at his wife, she snapped back, "I'm certain it's rude to take a shower in a host's home without asking first as well." A pause, and then, "...Not that she shouldn't be putting her clothes back on, but."

Sharon's reply to Taki crossing her arms was to pull a towel around herself...and sit down and look up at them. "....:D" The fact that Sharon could somehow speak emotes was somewhat creepy, but it didn't seem to bother Slayer in the slightest. "Oh, concerned about your water bill? Don't. You don't have to pay rent for another five months, and you have me to thank. A few connections made a little too much money, so I ...laundered... it to your land-lord." He sipped his tea, before looking back up at her. "You're welcome."

Taki, for the sake of her own sanity, turned her back on Sharon so she couldn't peek at her breasts and ignored the fact that she had somehow communicated a ":D" verbally. Instead of worrying about that, she focused on what Slayer had just informed her of. "...Thank you, but why?" She raised an eyebrow at him, hoping to whatever gods that may or may not have existed that it was his way of making up for randomly making her life miserable on occasion, or maybe even a simple act of kindness. Anything, so long as he wasn't expecting something back from her.

Slayer shrugged, before saying "Well, I looked up your salary out of boredom. They really don't pay you nearly enough to run around almost getting killed on a regular basis. I looked up your accounts too, and noticed that you funnel a good portion of said salary into your rent. I figured I'd give you some time to stock up some spending money." He took a sip of his tea. "A woman needs some leisures, you know."

Meanwhile, Sharon took the moment to again, invade and violate Taki's personal space. By pressing herself against Taki's back and...grabbing hold of the objects that so deftly held her attention. And squeezing them.

"...^__^"

"...Right. And you don't want anything back from me?" Taki wasn't exactly the kind of person to believe in the existence of free lunches, no matter who was offering her one. And, frankly, Slayer was so unpredictable that she had no idea if she should consider it remotely plausible for him to offer her one or not. "Though, yes, I'd have to agree about the amount that they pay me. If it wasn't for Toki..." She trailed off with a slightly irritated sigh.

And then Sharon pounced on her again, and Taki took a moment to choke out a rather comical, somewhat endearing noise of shock. She considered shoving her off and punch her once again, but then remembered just how well that had gone for her the first time around, and instead directed her ire at Slayer. "...Get. Her. OFF."

He raised an eyebrow at her, and said "Of course not. Why don't you accept a gift when you see one? It's rude to be suspicious, unless it's a government giving the gift. Then by all means, don't trust them at all." Meanwhile, while Sharon molested Taki in her own home and Taki demanded otherwise, Slayer rolled his eyes. "Sharon! Stop that."

He was a little late on the order, since his wife had decided to breathe tantalizingly in Taki's ear, even licking the edge a little, going to nibble before frowning at Slayer, releasing Taki, and slinking over to lay upon her husband's lap. And winking at Taki.

Taki reached up to tentatively touch her ear, looking as though she was expecting it to be infected with some horrible disease and fall off as she did so. At the wink, she seriously considered going for the pair of tanto on her coffee table, and only stopped herself with the reminder that they'd probably just break if she tried anything with them. "...Both of you. Just. Thank you for the money, now get the hell out."

Slayer shrugged, before standing up to leave, Sharon going with him. "Very well, then. I was just in to give you the news and let you in on your next assignment, which I took the liberty to look up a few weeks in advance for you. Folder's on the table. You won't be getting it for a little while, because they're not sure if they should give it to you or one of the more raw agents, to test her." He waved it off, before hanging on to Sharon, and...popping out of the living room.

Sharon took the towel she was wearing with her. Taki would probably never see it again.

Sighing in relief as the pair took their leave, she glanced down at the table where she had thrown her equipment earlier. There was indeed a manila folder there, which hastened to pick up for examination. It was promptly dropped back onto the table without ever being opened, though--before she had a chance to do so, Taki realized she really needed a shower and a good night's sleep before she looked into whatever the hell Slayer had given her.

slayer, taki
