A new month

Well... August is here... and do y'all know what that means? It means that Fall Semester will be here in just a couple of weeks! I'm excited...can't wait.. it's going to be an AWESOME semester. ...between classes and new friends and all of that stuff, I seriously can't wait for it to begin. :D ...as to in the mean time... I'm working from 7-12

Clubs are a good start to gettign a life. Just realize that you need to try to connect with the people away from the club as well as at the meetings -- ask 'em out, grab a beer or coke, whatever.

As for entertaining. It's simple. Go to the other room and talk to the guy. Start a conversation -- wacth tv -- play cards -- whatever -- just socialize and don't leave your guest alone in the other room.

that was my first thought too. You don't necessarily have to -do- anything. Just sit and talk and get to know each other. Find out what the guest likes and then you'll have ideas for movies to watch, food to eat, and things to do. (if you want to)

Yeah... and like I said in the one just replied to it all worked out... plus besides the poker, I found out that we both played soccer for 10+ years and all that... actually played against each other in 2nd grade... he was one of the guys I "accidentally" hit too hard while defending... oops. lol

Gotcha... good advice. ...and it worked out some. Just was kinda weird... he's my roomie's friend and I barely knew him and all that... but, it worked out alright... actually got some people together and had some nice penny (i.e. ante is a dollar... the poor college student's game ;) ) poker going on.
