the shittiest thing about the public transportation is being deterred from buying the 1 day pass because the (IMPOSSIBLE TO FUCKING BUY) 30 day pass is so much cheaper.
you need to use these fucking passport photo booths before you can get a long term pass. it only takes coins and it's like 80 krowns, which is impossible to save up.
you spend all of the coins because if you don't have exact fucking change here, the cashier will have "the changehound" (usually a german shepard) bite you.
if you ask a clerk if you can just have 5 20c coins for a 100c note- the clerk will bite you themselves
if you go into any of the touristy change places that say "free change" trying to get coins a big guy known as a 'changespot bouncer' will crack you in the skull with his baton and rip up your current public transportation pass.
i'm thinking of just hitting up every potrivini on the street buying a candy bar at each- but then i risk getting the 50c coins which the machine doesn't take. it's like i need to engineer a transaction so perfect i'd rather type out a long ass post about the whole situation than figure it out.
