Today's team meeting (my immediate team, as opposed to my full dev team, as opposed to my full team...):
Discussing which color fleece I would be ordering:
"Andrew is going to consult with his stylists. Andrew likes black. Black is Andrew's happy color. You want Andrew happy. You want Andrew to get black."
Discussing my current works-in-progress:
". Oh, and I'm in mourning."
"As opposed to afternoon or evening?"
"No, as in m-o-u-r-n-i-n-g."
"But you're wearing black."
"No, this is dark blue."
"Dark blue is your mourning color?"
"No, dark blue is my 'I need something to wear what's on top of the clean clothes stack' color. For today."
"It's a dark color, though, I thought you were in mourning."
"There are other things outside of work that might make me happy. I'm only mourning at work."
