My ulterior motives have ulterior motives.
I had that as my away message for a while after I realized that signing up for something (to be mentioned when I don't need to worry about being late) meant that I'd finally have to get around to making one of my desktop machines my communications center, rather than my laptop. So I actually spent several hours moving my mail over, as well as Trillian.
How often do people have simple, pure-hearted motives for doing things? Heck, I'll even take evil motives.
That's not what this post is actually about, of course. This post is an exceedingly short (especially for me) post to complain.
I bought TONS of candy for Halloween. I bought a Halloween bowl to put said candy in.
I had NO trick or treaters. NONE. Not a one.
I'm depressed. I'm going to shower and dress for my outing. I'm just sad.
