Wizarding World
Hybrid House, and why?: I’m more of a straight Ravenclaw than a hybrid, but the closest one is Slytherclaw. I’ve always had big dreams and wanted to be a cut above the rest, though I’m too blessed with a contrarian Ravenclaw nature (as well as a Ravenclaw’s laziness-I only care to do what’s most interesting to me in the moment) to have gone very far. I always think criticizing every idea I come across will endear me to others, but for some reason it never does. Fave Hogwarts Class(es), and why?: Study of Ancient Runes! I studied Linguistics in grad school, after all. Fave Wizarding Shop(s), and why?: Obviously Flourish and Blotts-if they have a clearance section of weird old books, I’m there. Fave Wizarding Restaurant(s), and why?: The Three Broomsticks. It seems like a good sort of bar to hang out in with yer mates. Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade, and why?: Hogsmeade-much fewer people! Preferred Wand Core, and why?: I like phoenix feather wands because they are the rarest, and of course I want to be special; however, I can see myself getting frustrated with a “difficult” wand, for I detest anything with a learning curve steeper than I can sprint up without losing my breath. What would suit me best is likely dragon heartstring, for I am known for my loud voice, “big movements,” and animated/excitable nature. Golden Trio or Silver Trio, and why? The Ravenclaw Trio, THANK you! I’m talking about Michael Corner, Terry Boot, and Anthony Goldstein. I developed their personalities in an unfinished series I started about Anthony Goldstein, which one can find here: https://archiveofourown.org/series/167294 I unlisted the series after I kept getting people criticizing my interpretation of Jewish law, and I got tired of pulling out my hair and exclaiming, “I’M JUST NOW CONVERTING, GIVE ME A BREAK!” I do plan to finish it one day-I just can’t decide if it should end in happiness or heartache.
Also, I was stamped as Terry Boot over at hh-stamping (the one and ONLY Terry Boot, I might add: https://hh-stamping.livejournal.com/873546.html), so believe when I say that THIS IS MY CREW!

Can I say I love that your name is Jonathan? Seriously, Jonathan has been a favorite name of mine for ages! I invariably crushed on folks named Jonathan- well most anyway, lol
I keep meaning to research this, but how do you figure out your Sun, Rising, and Moon signs??

My preferred wand core is a toss up between Thestral Hair and Horned Serpent Horn- and I was just stamped as Thestral Hair core so that works out. ;-) I tend to more quiet and subtle, not liking to give things away, lol. I'd like to think I'd be super good at non-verbal spells.
OMG, funny you should mention Ravenclaw Trio! I actually write/roleplay Terry Boot! I also pair him with Michael Corner. Like they are brain-twin soulmates. I blame it on this HP fic called Dumbledore's Army and the Year of Darkness which is basically Deathly Hallows from Neville's perspective. It's a DAMN GOOD FIC, let me tell you. They aren't together in the fic or anything, but their friendship is so close and intimate and it does transcend certain boundaries you'd find among other friendships. It's beautiful in my opinion.
That's way cool that you're the only Terry Boot! Sometimes I wish I was heavy into a more minor character, because I don't believe for one minute I'm the only Neville Longbottom in HiH. I do think that I am, however, the only stamped Neville who is also matched with Neville, lolz.
Dude, I wish there was a Slytherin crew I could claim, but like there's only Draco for me.

THREE CHEERS FOR TERRY BOOT! I’ve always written Michael a the straight one, Anthony as the cagey gay one, and Terry as the confused one with a terrible unrequited crush on Hermione. Lol. But I support and will read ANY Terry Boot writing!

I pretty much turn everything gay/queer. Surrounded by straight fiction everywhere and annoyed by fiction that feature a bisexual character but pair them with a member of the opposite sex. I feel like it's baiting, because most of the time it is.
