And all that Jazz.
I am alive.
First Wednesday in FEBRUARY already and only just getting a chance to check posts and reply. How sad is this? Life seems too hectic here somehow. Not sure I'm enjoying myself, despite the supposedly higher quality of living and so on. But anyway...
The weather here is a bitch right now. Hot, humid, and cloyingly annoying even at 10pm at night - Makes it hard to get to sleep, harder to stay asleep, and in general makes for unpleasant nights with damp and sweaty sheets. And before you ask: no I can't turn the aircon down a bit. New Zealand houses don't have any. Other than that and my rather busy workload (I never seem to have time for the things I want to do - but I _did_ have quite a good break this past weekend I guess: had a friend and his partner to dinner one night went to dinner the next night with some other folks. Just meant I was a little short on time to myself despite having a long weekend due a public holiday. But long weekends are one of the few times NZ'ers appear to get to do "more than usual" in and so there's quite a spate of people-to-dinner events when those come around. Aaah well. It's time to head for bed and try faking the sleep thing for an hour or two until the heat dissipates.
So anyway. Here I am. Back to your regular broadcasts.
To everyone who sees me Journal in the friends capacity - I still read yours too, just don't get much time ot reply that often.
To those of you stumbling by in an anonymous capacity - I may even owe some of you emails. Trust me: they're not forgotten. It's just that my email Inbox has gone through a "collation" effort, in which I gathered some emails from various accounts together so I could sort them all out.
I'm down from over 900 unread messages to a mere 210 unread messages now (of which I've actually read all 210 on various OTHER computers, it just they're not processed and filed on this main one yet...)
Bear with me for a mere 6 months at the very MOST and you'll all get your email :|
Until then, please keep well...
