Locked to Harry, Ernie, Neville, Ron and Valerius ViscontidragoneskSeptember 11 2006, 07:41:27 UTC
Yes. Very.
Did it actually kill any of the defenders, or have we just made the new Hogwarts swimming pool? I reckon this is pretty important. The fact that we can drop something that causes so much damage without any wards stopping it. So we may want to think what we do and don't tell the Order.
How about the ground crew? We were a bit preoccupied on the way home, and in Glasgow, so I never got the chance to find out. Did any of you manage to get any good hexing in?

I .. not know if we killed anybody. We might have hurt them. I think we managed a few sharp hexes. I know I hit at least one Death Eater.
After they hit MacMillan with the Cruciatus, it was.. the gloves came off, as you say. They were using Unforgivables. So they got some back. I make no apology for that.
Neville hit a trap, and I tried to help him and it bit me a bit too. Nothing serious. A few cuts and bruises is all.
The woods are bloody dangerous. There are traps everywhere. They are also full of werewolves, dementors, trolls.. not to mention sentient flora.
And I think we all became a little heat-singed after the explosion. I was not aware that it was quite that potent.

Thank you, I do appreciate your subtlety.
However, I made sure that this post was locked to just the people who were there, and already witness what I was doing. The chances are high that MacMillan or Longbottom would mention this at some point. There is little point in denying something quite that obvious, and so I might as well say before they accuse. Yes?
Of course, if the Order were to ask, I admit nothing. Capisce?

It's not the Order I'm worried about. Its whatever kangaroo court you might end up in at some stage in this war. If no-one saw you do it, or heard you talk about it, they can't put you away.
I can see that MacMillan and Longbottom are not that discreet. I'll have a gentle word.

See what, exactly? Things were blowing up, burning, Dementors dementing, I was bloody lucky to be able to see my own wand. Don't know what you're on about, Mr. Weasley.
Locked to Neville Longbottom.
Are you all right now, Longbottom?
Bloody traps. You were very lucky it missed most of you, yes?
It got me too.

Wouldn't want to leave a confusing entry around that might be misunderstood eh?
I'd do the same, but for Merlin's sake don't admit it.

Still it is very useful sometimes not to see things. Because then you can't talk about them. Or give evidence about them.
Saves trouble all round, I reckon.
