Mark, the nice man I spoke to from Apple has assured me that the two $1.00 charges are to make sure that the billing info I entered matches up with my bank account's billing info and are a security measure that will be refunded.
I feel slightly stupid, but not entirely so. They should probably note on the website that such charges will be applied, because otherwise people may freak out, as I did. But, I am calm now. Calm and happy. TITANOBOA has shipped, the case has not, but that's cool. I need the iPod more than the case, and it should be here within a day or so of the iPod. TITANOBOA.
I'm going to go and get my yoga on and work out. I have like two hours of product training today, which basically means I'm going to sit in an amphitheater (and who the hell knew my workplace had an amphitheater?) and look at truly hideous clothes and read and draw and do Sudoku and get paid for it. Seriously. My schedule today looks like this:
5 -5:30 - Work
5:30 - 7:30 - Product Training
7:30 - 7:40 - Work
7:40 - 7:50 - Break
7:50 - 10:30 - work.
