That's right, 3 nil to the boys in blue. What a wonderful night last night was. Revs win 3 nil against the hated Crew. I got a new jersey, sweatshirt, scarf, a new england flag, my revsmfls loyalty cup champion trophy, got to see all my friends and the BOYS WON!! Definately been a good weekend. Revs are in first, as they should be.
I missed driving down rt 16 and all the back roads through bellingham and mendon, and 495S, and rt 1. I missed going through the blackstone forest through Douglas with the windows down and the music blasting. I'm glad its back.
Wanna know something weird, when I'm goin to Foxboro, everybody I pass I thank God that I am not that person, because that person is most likely not going to Gillette to see the Revs. I guess that is my worse nightmare, not being able to go to the game. I love going to the games and I don't know what I would do if I can't go.
Nothing can take over my mind on game day. It's Revs all day, from the time I wake up to the time I fall asleep. Yesterday, however, wasn't a first. On the way there I usually think about last week's game, imagining Twellman, Noonan, or Dempsey scoring a spectacular goal and the Revs winning 5-0. Sometimes I talk to my brother about the game, and the previous weeks game, and what could happen and stuff. So basically soccer and the Revs are on my mind when going to Gillette. This week was different. My mind wasn't on the Revs. It was on my personal life and things taking place. Usually when I have personal problems or whatever they are put aside on Saturdays. My life stops on gamedays.
I don't know if this means something, maybe its something good. Maybe its fate. I heard a good line today from a good movie, "Can't Hardly Wait". Fate can bring you where you want to be but it's up to you to make it happen. I should really live by this because fate has brought me to a lot of places but I really haven't done anything about it. I'm faced with a situation right now that fate has graciously gifted me with. I want to do something, just not sure what to do. Ahh! I'll make it work. Don't know how, but I will.
