This one is short, sorry guys. I just need some time to think out the next part because it's very important. Oh well, enjoy.

Midnight was only a half hour away, so Jacob and the group of girls split. Jacob biked as fast as he could to get home to get out of the cold. But the faster he biked the colder he got because of the wind. It chapped his lips until they turned blue and his fingers felt like they were frozen to the handlebars of his bike. He finally rolled into his driveway and struggled to his door. He opened it with the last bit of his strength and plunged on the couch. He was just in time to watch the ball drop. Jacob raised the glass of champagne that was presented to him by his mother and toasted to a happy new year with his family. His year ended on such a high note that he only had great expectations for the next.

The cold from the outside wouldn't escape his body so he jumped into a hot bath that his mother got ready. The hot water was a shock to his body and he nearly passed out. Slowly he began to feel different part of his body parts and gained a lot of warmth back.

Jacob got ready for bed. He turned his light off and turned on his CD player and played one of his mixed CD's to help him get to sleep. He snuggled into bed and he laid there thinking about Sarah. He thought about the wonderful feelings he has for her and the wonderful times they have together. He reminisced about that evening and the snowball fight. As he was recalling the events he began to shift his attention from Sarah to Jillian. He began to think about why he thought Jillian would be a good girlfriend for him. It was so random, and he couldn't understand why he thought of it.
