Grievances!
FINALLY had communication from the college about this year's course hours. Problem is I've already signed up for some temp work covering those hours (didn't have the option of waiting to find out what college were doing - had to grab it while I could).
So earlier today I had to sheepishly decline the work and say that I can't do the agreed days and hours after all. They say they'll have other shifts available soon but, eh. They've probably got me down as a complete timewaster and won't bother with me.
How can a course with six (6) teaching hours per week make life so difficult?
One of my classmates has abandoned us to go and start Proper Uni. Felt like yelling 'It won't do you any good! Throw yourself in the road, love, you haven't got a chance!'
