so here we are...writing this kick ass new song with this breakdown that we have to write down on paper...just so we can memorize it. he he he...I'll post an example...now...I can't remember exactly the time signatures...but I think drums are in 4/4 or 7/8 and the guitars are in no time signature at all...but every other or every third phrase of our progression comes down on the one with the drums...it's neat. here we go...now the X's represent our down strokes, obviously you can't get the right rhythm just by looking at x's, but i'll try to represent where the rest's are and stuff...the numbers represent which chord in our progression...there are 4 notes per progression and they change randomly throughout the phrases...ok...

I know it doesn't look that crazy on paper...or LJ, it's impossible for me to show the syncopation and shit but...when you hear the parts going against a different time signature and the progression randomly changing...oh yeah, big boner. :) This is where our drummer and bass players' helmet influences come into play
