"Uhmm... a rabbit!"
"A rabbit? Really?"
"What big brother said!"
"I think it looks like an orange!" "...An orange?" "Yup!"
"No! It's a rabbit!"
Laying upon the lush, soft stretch of grassy plains were three people. One can be recognized as Jack, his long green robe folded and settled beneath his head as well as the other two's. The other two were small children, one with short wavy black hair and the other the same length but with a soft golden blond color. Beaming eyes of gold from the dark-haired boy blinked, casting Jack a puzzled look. He had been the one to claim it was a rabbit, of course his little brother beside him agreed with whatever he thought.
What they were doing was playing 'the cloud game', a game where you did nothing but stare up at the clouds in the bright blue sky and try to figure out the shapes they made. So far they had named a few, but no matter what Jack always stuck by with a single image.
"But.. Master Jack, you said the last one looks like an orange! And the one before too!"
Jack titled his head, grinning at the other two, "Really? Come on, let's look at another!" Green raised, scanning the sky before he lifted a gloved hand to point at one. "There! Vincent, what do you think it looks like?"
Vincent lifted bi-colored eyes to stare up at the mentioned cloud, a bit unsure and so glanced to his brother. He cuddled closer to him with a hold on his elder brother's arm, "..Brother?" His brother smiled at him, nodding to encourage him. "Go on, what does Vince think?" "Uhm.." He looked back to the cloud before he decided, "A mouse!" The dark-haired boy smiled brightly at him, looking to the cloud. Jack looked at the elder of the two, green eyes twinkling. "What about you, Gilbert?" Gilbert stared at it a little longer, watching the cloud float endlessly over blue. "..A butterfly." Vincent looked at him, tilting his head a little. "Butterfly? ..Then, I think it's a butterfly too!" Gilbert laughed lightly, shaking his head. "It's whatever you think it looks like!"
The two looked at Jack, curious while they both spoke in tune. "What do you think, Master Jack?"
Jack stared a moment longer, feeling the two boy's eyes on him. Then he turned to look at him, nodding with a very confident look. "An orange!"
Immediately, Gilbert pouted once again. "Master Jack! Take the game seriously!" Jack laughed softly, reaching out to take hold of the boy and nuzzle his face onto the top of the boy's head. "Noooo! It's what I think! Can't you see it!?" The boy huffed, squirming a little in the hold till he started to laugh, "Master Jack, t-that tickles!" Vincent's eyes brighten up, moving to climb on top of the two to join in. "I'll save you brother!" Jack grinned, moving to try and keep Gilbert hidden away within his arms as to not escape. "He's trapped forever! Hurry Vincent! Before it gets you too!" The golden boy's eyes widen, gasping and he moved to tug at the arms, "Brother! It's okay, I'll get you out!" Gilbert was unable to respond, squirming and wiggling even more as loud laughter left his tiny body. "M-Master Jack! S-Stop! H-Hahaha!" Soon enough Vincent was caught, yelping in his surprise before the the cloud game came to an end in the loss of laughter and fooling around.
[Jack had only meant to take a nap, being that it was still the middle of the day but it seemed he slept just a bit longer. Eyes squinted, the bright light of purple waking him up from the slumber.]
..Well, that was rather nostalgic.
[He blinked eyes open, glancing to the Dreamberry as well as the golden pocket watch next to it. The source of the purple light.]
..This?
