character profile.

NAME. Jack Vessalius.
CANON. Pandora Hearts.
CANON POINT. Retrace/Chapter 44.
SEX. Male.
AGE. Twenty-five, but that was one hundred years earlier from Oz's time.
HEIGHT. 5'9.
APPEARANCE. Image 01. Image 02.
NATIONALITY. British.
PERSONALITY. When Jack is first introduced, he's a calm and collected guy. Gentle warming and serious but still friendly, even confident with what he knows and faces. When a gun was pointed in his face, Jack didn't get easily scared or intimidated but faced it with a smile. It shows he can be quite fearless too, the confidence of his nature understood and took it that Gilbert would not shoot him. Showing Jack's trust and believe in someone will not falter so long as they don't actually do something to harm or betray that trust. Even then, he does wish and hope to forgive any mistakes.

However, even though he is an adult, Jack acts no more than like a child. He acts quite freely: always smiling, joking and flirting with girls. A childish act he usually displays, with the enjoyment of climbing trees though always so clumsy enough to fall out of them most of the time. Which he waves with a laugh and smile. When people even expressed slight dislike or annoyance to Jack, an example is Lotti where as she’ll pull and tug at his braid, Jack responds to it kindheartedly and stays his regular cheerful self. He doesn’t seem to take any insult or harm to the heart. Dealing annoyance and pain with a smile, Jack is the typical friendly guy who wouldn't mind getting to know and be friends with anybody.

That doesn’t suggest he’s always like this. Having so much care and love for his best friend, it reveals Jack will play blind and continue to act cheery and happy even when he knows something is up. He's not quick to judge, but if he thinks something is going wrong, he feels like he's trapped in front of a wall and quickly comes lost on what to do. Having so much trust in someone just shows how naive Jack can be. When it comes to killing and death, Jack becomes depressed and distressed over the topic. It's a crack in his cheery attitude, in which Jack will so easily breakdown to. Though his old and cheerful personality stays in tact which offers up the optimism and determination to seek another solution to things rather than death. However, he's not afraid to stop someone if it ever comes the chance to. That would be ending someone's life.

Very so rarely does Jack showed a harsh side. When confronted that Jack killed his best friend for "fame and glory" Jack quickly snaps to it in which his determination is on full throttle. It shows Jack isn't always cheerful, but tries to be. He tries to keep his regular cheerful exterior, but when faced with problems and mistakes, Jack easily beats himself up over things. There's a side of him that appears like a Hero, a leader, a fearless powerful side where he takes charge of any situation to express his thoughts on the matter. Yet he still has that soft heart, it didn't matter for example with Alice having a other personality side that was evil and cold- Jack never rejected her but rather accepted it. Another example is with Vincent, during that time having a red eye means 'the curse of misfortune', but Jack didn't lay a finger to harm Vincent, and even exclaimed that he loved that red eye of his and that he shouldn't hide it. Jack is a friendly loving young man, who only ever faces his dark problems in distress.

SPECIALTIES/ABILITIES. ▪When it comes to handling a weapon, Jack has shown some ability to be able to wield and use a sword.
▪Being a music box maker in the past, he also shows creativity and uniqueness in being able to make one. Whether it be a simple music box, or even built in a regular pocket watch.
▪For anything else, he has shown that he is able to use and control Alice’s B. Rabbit form as to use her powers. That is said it’s because of Oz, that he is able to do so. For Oz has that sole ability of being able to use it to his own accord, and with Jack residing within Oz- it explains why he was able to use it. However, taking control of Oz’s body as well as using Alice’s powers; it takes a lot of restrain on his soul and energy to hold him back from ever revealing himself, even to Oz.

TRIGGERS. With how Jack is, getting on his bad side isn't at all easy. One way to anger him is claiming that he killed his best friend for fame and glory, for the nobility name. There's hardly anything else, however threatening children is gonna get you on the list.
MEDICAL INFO. Being that he had no body before, so getting use to having one now will take a while to get use to. It might leave him open to getting sick easily for a bit, not to mention not knowing his limits but Jack has always been daring.
MENTAL INFO. Jack is what you would consider "pure", however if you were to read his mind and prod a little, you'll find the haunting thoughts of the past, of having to kill his friend. Taking control of him is a different matter, it'll be proven to be a little difficult, however not impossible, especially if he's weak.
FOURTH-WALLING. go ahead!
THREADJACKING. definitely yes.
BACKTHREADING. especially a-okay with this.
PHYSICAL CONTACT. Everything is fine, for injuries/killing I suggest read on.
ROMANCE/SEXUAL RELATIONS. Up for anything, though jack isn't the type of person to look for sex first. A real relationship will take a bit of time and effort to get, with him focusing on stopping his best friend being the highest of importance. As well as watching over oz, alice, and everyone. He flirts, he hugs, he may kiss on the cheek; as for your character, do whatever you like!
INJURE/KILL. As far as it goes; using magic, stabbing, slicing, shooting, burning, etc is fine with me. Tearing off a limb is a no, but breaking a bone is fine. At the moment though, no killing yet.
DEVICE HACKING. Sure, just say the word.
ANYTHING ELSE. Just ask!
