First Leaves of Autumn
I passed by two ambulances and two police cars on my way to the office this weekend. They were standing in the middle of the road. Between them there was an empty wheel chair, partially covered by a long sheet of black fabric. It was sad, cold, and somehow it got me thinking about autumn, and how much my life has changed back and forth these last few months. I wish I had more time to just enjoy the first leaves falling, walk in the park, or sit by the window drinking a cup of hot chocolate every now and then. I know my life will slow down in a few weeks. I just hope the fall can wait that long.
