Although she may not look straight at him for very long, he certainly looks straight at her. The gold in his eyes burn like a fire wild enough to humble even the greatest emperors or warm and inviting enough to shelter the poorest peasant from winter. He is not a tame lion, many of those from the world that knows him as Aslan can tell her this, but neither does he attack without provocation. Her music is far from that and what her music speaks of her spirit has no bearing on their encounter here. He is not the maker of this world nor will he end it, though he may see it to its end, all depending. Aslan nods once, returning the cordial greeting before he shifts his glance to where the sky meets the sea. There is something mildly curious about a parallel drawn between her and her sky soldier, and he who is crowned to the northern sky and he who treads the dawn. When the lion speaks his voice is full and solid but never frightening, not when he means no harm.

"Your music is no distraction, therefore I have no need for your apology," he says to Michiru in words only she could understand. That is, for anyone who should dare to stumble upon their conversation they would not hear words at all. Only the sound of the ocean's tide meeting the sand. But for the time being, they remain alone tonight. Aslan turns to look at the woman whose hair reminds one of the teal ripples in the shallows when the sun shines brightest, "and don't stop on my accord, unless it's your wish."

He is looking at her eye to eye.

"But it is a lovely evening, I do agree."
