Day six without power on the street where I work. Day six of checking people in after their shift by candlelight after wasting time waiting instead of getting work done. Day six of waiting for Duke Energy to fix the power lines.
"This duke wouldn't let us down. He cares about us"
It came back on Friday evening and my boss shouted with glee.
