Now...On to my life!
Most of the past two weeks, I honestly do not remember. It is such a blur. The past week, the most wonderful week I have had to date, I can recall in great detail.
To Jimmy - Here is your update and a new cliffhanger to hold on to! =)
First, I am not online anymore because my computer is at the bar until I get the new one we just purchased installed. This has actually been a good thing because I don't sit at home all day on it and I actually get my laundry done, errands completed, etc. etc.
Monday (The 22nd) I was at work and really having a bad night. I was frustrated over so many different things. Josh called and we talked. Finally, he decided he was just going to come up here. Knowing that Josh was on his way, I started doing inventory and let Deven bartend. As soon as I was finished with everything, the Poofta (Our nickname for each other) showed up. We hung out for a bit, had a few beers, then decided I would just go to Austin tonight with him and come back with him on Wednesday. We headed to my house to drop off my car and so I can pack.
We made it to Austin, about 2:30am, and just went to sleep. Because of the weather, his class was canceled so we made dinner plans with his roomie Nicole and his friend Sarah. We headed to HEB to pick up some stuff then headed home and I cooked all of us dinner. After dinner, Josh and I headed to OCH where Jason proceded to pour the cocktails and shots. Getting late, we jumped in a cab and headed to Coyote Ugly. Several drinks and shots later, I turned my head and gracefully puked in the trashcan. I think I shot Captin instead of my usual Jack. We closed out the tab and were escorted out by security. The entire staff and bouncers apologized but I assured them it was time to go anyway and I know that rules are rules.
We headed back to OCH because it was near the car and had a soda. We looked around and decided to just head home. The end to an eventful night.
Wednesday afternoon we were both craving Scholtzsky's (however you spell it) so we pulled up the site, www.cooldeli.com btw =), and found the closest location. We headed back to Josh's apartment and watched a movie. After the movie we packed our bags, headed to Midnight Rodeo so Josh could pick up his ID and Debit card that he left there on Saturday, then headed for Killeen. We stopped in at the new bar in Harker Heights, the Closet... Maybe its because I work at Rumors but I still wasn't impressed.
After a drink we headed to my house to pick up my car. Chatted with my sis for a while then headed to Rumors. After a beer, Dawn, Josh's Friend that was in town, showed up at we headed to the Duckhorn Tavern to meet his other friends in town. It was packed! Thankfully, the waiter and GM are customers of mine at Rumors so we got speedy and discounted service. After a round of Jack & Coke and a Bud Light, we headed back to Rumors.
Thanksgiving Day I woke up around 11am and putted around the house waiting for our company to arrive. Sammy, my old DJ from the club finally showed up and we played with the kids. Around 2:30 Josh showed up. He was nervous to meet my family for the first time. We ate dinner, watched the game, then started playing Phase 10. Josh caught on quickly. My little sister, her husband, and their boys showed up and joined in the game. Around 8:30, we headed back to Temple so I could go to work.
Friday...Woke up at 10:30 and headed to the bar as always. Got the beer stocked, made change at the bank, hit up the Albertson's for supplies since they are closing and everything is 50% off, headed home, watched a movie, got ready for work. As I was getting out of my car, Josh arrived. We hung out while I worked...Blah Blah Blah... went to IHOP, then headed home.
Saturday I was excited all day because Josh had a suprise planned. Went to my staff meeting, bartended, had a blast, finally 3am...Time for my suprise!
Josh's parents left for the cabin in Colorado so he was taking me to their place. We walked in and there was a huge sign that said "Tommy...You are the Poofta! Love - Josh". It is hanging in my office now. He gave me a tour of the entire house except for 1 room. We went back outside, smoked a ciggie, then stood in the living room. He held me close then said "Tommy...I love you!" I started crying. I have already told him that I feel the same about him and that I didn't expect to hear him say it till he was ready. He finally was. Let me tell you, these have been the happiest months of my life. I finally found "THE ONE!"
Tired as hell, we headed to the 1 room I had yet to see. His room. Laying on the bed was a card explaining how he felt. We got ready for bed then fell asleep in each other's arms.
The next morning, he had planned on making us brunch complete with mimosas, but we were running late. I had to be at the club by 2:30pm to meet Nancy & Deven. We packed up his stuff so he could head home then he dropped me off at the club. Several minutes later, he headed to Austin and Deven, Nancy and myself headed to the Expo Center.
As a way of thanking me and Deven for all we do, Nancy got us tickets to the Russian Ballet's Nutcracker. Even though I taught Dance & Ballet, I had never been to a Ballet. It was pretty good. I still prefer Theatre.
We dropped Nancy off at the club to meet her wife, Lisa, then Deven & I headed to Tres Meigas for dinner. I had been craving it for months. After dinner, we headed back to the club because I had to work and Deven headed home.
Watched Extreme Makeover/Home Editionm, then Desperate Housewives (SO IN LOVE WITH THAT SHOW!), then started decorating the club for Christmas. I actually got a lot of it done already. Just a few more minor touches here and there.
Well, its 2:30am I have to get home. I will be working tomorrow then heading for Austin around 5pm on Tuesday for my weekly trip to see my baby. I will be back in town, as always, Thursday afternoon.
So yes....Josh and I are still together, stronger than ever...Work is great...My sister Alice moved from Temple to Killeen (Congrats on the new house!)... Debbie the Dyke sister is doing good... Her daughters are due back in town in mid-december and I miss the hell out of them...Everything is great!
Have a good week and I will try to update soon!
