[I'm worried and I found some of the food, so cut up the apples into tiny apple bunnies and brought them over to your room. idk.] The monsters, they disappeared. The person who made them took them away. Are you ok?

Math...? [Smiles at Syaoran when he offers the plate, picking up a small apple bunny. Studies it, curious.] I see...

[Then something in the corner of his eye moves again. Is that a hand--

Fai violently jumps away from what he saw as a hand aiming for his head, dropping the apple. He falls over and stares wide-eyed at the empty room around him, aside from Syaoran.] Wha...

Yeah. He kept talking in equations, it was...strange. [Smiles himself, taking a bunny to munch on. After a minute, he notices the curiosity.] It's an apple bunny. My fa--

Fai? [Something was wrong? Syaoran moves quickly near the younger boy, posture eased into a protective stance as his eyes scan the room for any type of danger. He didn't sense anything, not that he could much in the first place but... Fai was afraid of something.] I don't see or sense anything there...

... [He put a hand over his eyes, concentrating on just breathing. His heart was pounding into his chest, but he knew his uncle wasn't here. Not...in here.] I-...I think I'm just tired... [He didn't pull his hand away from his eyes, not wanting to see the figure again.]

[He really didn't sense anything there. No threat. Nothing wrong at all. Turning to look down on Fai, he could see the fear there, whether or not the young boy tried to hide it.] Fai... [He was very worried now. Whatever had caused the boy to jump like that wasn't normal. Bending down on his knees, eye level with Fai, he placed his hands on the boy's shoulders.] It's alright. If you're tired you can lay down. I'll... I'll stay here and watch over you. Ok?

I will... [Slowly, he pulled his hands away, but didn't look up from them.] I need to go see Kamui. I'm worried about him. [They were only figments of his imagination, he thought.]

... [He waited, still looking worried as Fai uncovered his eyes. What would he do for him?] Kamui...? [...Syaoran wondered for a moment which one. Then dismissed the thought as it didn't matter. [He looks up at Li finally, eyes a bit wide but he nods his head in agreement.] ...Alright. [Fai looked back down at his hands, tempted to hide behind them again, but what good would that do? He couldn't hide from images in his mind.

[He gave a small, reassuring smile as Fai finally looked at him.] Ok. [Syaoran then stood, eyes closing briefly as he placed a hand atop Fai's fluffy head. "Everything will definitely be alright," eh? His own mothers words... He hoped they were right. Removing his hand, Syaoran stepped over to the door and waited for Fai to show the way.] Let's go.
