(no subject)
my saturday was perfected when i went to great harvest to buy a loaf of bread and granola, and they gave me a FREE loaf. i guess that makes up for them not having any apple crunch OR cinnamon swirl.
my food stamps got cancelled. i realized it when i was at first alternative buying 2 candybars and a bottle of xylitol gum, and my card had insufficient balance. i called dhs, and it turns out that mail was returned to them from this address, which is strange since i've recieved mail from them before. anyway, i left a message with the lady who opened my account, so hopefully on monday everything will be fixed, and i'll have money again.
i've been doing really well lately. i'm getting a little stressed, just because it's the end of the school year. but i'm still going. i'm hoping i can find a summer job waitressing, because that would give me monnnnnnney, which i really need. ruby tuesday's would be good, or maybe mcgrath's. who knows.
our upstairs neighbors threw up on our patio. it's really sad how nice this apartment complex could be if there were decent managers who had any idea what the fuck they were doing. i really miss destiny and jim.
i'll probably live with my sister and take veronica's place until the lease is up in august, and spend the summer looking for a good house/apartment and having it saved. only problem---my friend keith knows some people who are moving out of their 2 bedroom house that's only a block from campus, and they were only paying 500 for it. so he's going to see if he can talk to his buddies and possibly get me over there to look at it. because if it's not a piece of trash, i'll take it. i don't mind an apartment, i'd just really like to have a house/duplex. the only problem with a house is utilities, so the only way i can do it is to find one that's inexpensive. i'm hoping to fall in love with a cheap, cute, campus-close house soon.
but until then, i'm off to write my women studies paper.
