Interesting abilities the Animus have, aren't they? If disruptive.

I'll agree to that. This whole thing is rather annoying.

I can't say I appreciate having my movements restricted, especially without warning. I was in the middle of working, and by now the thing has probably died or wandered off.

Faring as well in your new location?

Just about. I'm in a room with two children. One of which, I'm not sure is human at all.

You have a problem with children? They're generally quite easy to subdue.

And oh...? Anything interesting about the non-human?

Not particularly. I used to work in an orphanage, after all- they're just... rather trying, at times.

...nothing you'd be interested in, I think.

Could keep them drugged and unconscious for the week, if they become too much of a bother.

...No sign of worthwhile ability?

That would run the risk of someone else finding out. I can't have that.

Not that I could tell. I'll mention something if he (I think it's a he, anyway) does during the week.

That matters? A pity.

Hm. I'd appreciate it.

It's awfully hard to manipulate people when they know you've drugged children in the past. Many people are more sentimental towards people of a younger age than they are of adults.

Really? But children can be quite irritating, and aren't even useful until they're old enough and can work properly. Even sentimentalists have to recognize that.

Sadly, they don't. It can be advantageous at times, but for the most part, it's just... annoying.

You'll just have to manage for a week.

I don't yet know what hours we're trapped in these buildings for, but in the near future I want to start researching your condition.

Obviously.

Of course- that's just fine with me.

Good that you haven't tried changing your mind. I can likely get something done during the week, if nothing too involved. If we're forced to remain in these buildings at night, you'd have to stay in a condition to travel. You don't heal like your associate, do you?

Of course not. My associate only has one life to lose, and it's possible for him to be caught in an endless cycle of death if this place can revive him. I, however, am not quite so lucky. Anything you do to me, I can simply come back from, even if it's something as gruesome as death.

No, as I said before, I'm just a regular human. I would need to be able to return to the dorm nightly.
