[One of the times Yuca blinks, he'll find Al sitting next to him, just silently looking up and watching the stars, as if he's been there for some time. Silent and companionable.]
[He's going to watch Alphonse for a moment then, blankly, before forgetting about his presence. It takes him another moment before he reaches out and touches his shirt, almost like he expects his fingers to go right through it.]

[He touches Al's fingers curiously, as if he can't quite believe that they're there.]
Where the dirt meets the feet of men from other places.

[Al lets him, touching back, assuring Yuca that he's there, and real. Not just a product of his mind.]
But yes.

[Softly, closing his eyes.]
We would sneak out of the house and run for the lights in the night sky.

We could ride the ferris wheel.

[He pulls his hand back, wraps his arms around himself.]
I don't have enough space for new memories.

[Smiling, eyes closed.]
I don't mind. Just here, in this moment, that's all that matters now.

[He struggles to stand.]
When the metal rusts and the wood falls into decay, we'll still be here. Time has no measure here. Time has no power.
