Restrictions...
Okay, so on Monday, VanWyhe calls me down to the dean's office. As I walk down there, I'm thinking, "Oh geez, what the hell did I do this time? I can't remember anything recent." Turns out I was right. Krob told me that Muhr had found some files in my folder that breached the computer user agreement. I was like, "Huh?" and then she showed me the printout of my shortcuts to WinNT, Ms-DOS prompt, and NetStat. I was surprised at first, because those shortcuts were made in like... March of freshman year. I thought they deleted your files yearly. Turns out I was wrong. Lol I didn't even use those files this year. Evidently the networking people at our school don't take too kindly to students rummaging through the hard drives of the computer. I remember that it just annoyed me that you couldn't get into the C drives.... so I did.... and it also annoyed me that the librarians would come and kick me off when I played like Slime Volleyball, so I found a way to see if they were watching me. *sighs* Well in any case, I protested that I didn't actually cause any damage with my files, and Krob said that Muhr had found that I hadn't or I'd be under a more severe punishment... e.g. more restrictions, PMs, etc. As it is, I am under "Restrictions" for a semester. That means that every time I need to use a computer, I need to fill out a form and have my teacher sign it. That's just a bitch to do every fucking time. And the part of having to explain it to my teachers... that's just plain embarassing. I could just sign in under Stef's or Barker's or Jeff's logins, but if for some odd reason they caught me doing that, I'd be in deep shit. As luck would have it, I have two finals to take on the computer. Great. More humiliation for something I did a year ago and had forgotten about.
Well, let's move on to grades. It's almost time for finals. I have like a 93 in Pre-Calc. So I need like a 78 on the final. In Chem, I'm not sure what I have, but I need an A on that final. Ouch. In MWH, I have like a B+ right now.. and it'll prolly stay that way 'cause my last paper was crap. So I also need an A on the final. Ouch. English, I'm set thanks to that research paper. I think I can get a 0 on everything left and get an A. In PE, I probably have a low B now that Rooney is gonna count my workout plan as half credit even though it was only 1 day late. Ah well, at least it doesn't count on my GPA. I have like a 89.2 in Spanish. I think there's a little something left I can do to try and boost that up. I'd better do so 'cause I always seem to fuck up those tests. And I think I have a low A in Foods, but that doesn't really matter cause it's pass-fail.
