Someone replaced all the content on my Stephanie Brown Wiki Profile with "sixty niggers".
Yes, just that.
It's the most pointless thing I've ever seen. As an administrator, it took me two mouseclicks to go back and restore the content, and one mouseclick to block the users IP from the wiki.
I honestly expected something like this before, Steph is a controversial character and all that, so I was glad the wiki has backups. And someone hacked into the even robins site once, which is just horrible. People have no respect for how much work someone puts into something, they just want to be asshats.
Though the most this person managed to accomplish was make me babble over the phone to Mom.
Me: Where are my gluesticks, I need them for AP Art History flashcards...better call Mom.
*checks email while at it*
Me: Someone edited the wiki! It's probably Levrai. I wonder if he did scans, or another summary. If it's the latter, I'll have to edit the grammar before I go back to studying, as I have no self control.
*dials Mom while clicking on email*
The summary of the edit is: "Replaced content with 'sixty niggers'.
Me: ....
Mom: Hello?
Me: ....
Mom: HELLO?
Me:...I...I...what. I don't...I don't...what. Okay...I wanted to ask you about...my gluesticks. Where....where are my gluesticks. I need...I need my gluesticks.
Mom: I put them on the bed last night! You probably knocked them off, OMG.
Me: Okay. Thanks. Thanks a lot. Bye.
Mom: I love you.
Me: Bye. I mean, I love you too.
Me: *bans user, fixes Profile in two clicks.* Whew! What the hell?
What annoys me is they also used it as an oppurtunity to be RACIST. You know, just to add on to their assholery. No harm done though. I don't understand what the point is, though. I wonder if the person thought it would be funny ("sixty niggers" is the height of humor, y'know), or didn't like Steph or didn't like me personally. It could be someone from SD (I know a few who'd do that sort of thing, I've seen them make posts similar to...that. And I've certainly annoyed enough of them, which is why I recently decided to stick to Cass thread, and only post infrequently there at that. I have a hard time believing any of them would be quite that asshatty, or put so much effort into it, but, I'm notoriously naive) or Newton or someone, though this is a little to sly for him. Or it was motivated by a dislike of Steph.
Most like it is the funny option. I don't care though. I thought I'd share it as it's interesting, and a MYSTERY! Also, I can now get any desire to yak about it out of my system and get on to studying. Which I shall!
