You guys may have noticed I haven't been around.
This is mostly due to my computer completely crapping out. I have a new one now, it isn't completely set up, but I have the Internet! If all goes well, it should be fully functional soon. But if I go of the rez again, it's probably because of complications. I can't access this blog at school due to the filter, but I haven't even been working for BSR lately because of a succession of events.
The pressure on my as a senior has ramped up to the nth degree. I have been so stressed I missed an assignment in English this week and got a 67 on the math test. This was compounded by a cold I caught and my eighteen year old cat, Mariah, getting very sick. I know old cats tend to die, but it freaked me out thinking she was going to, she's my favorite cat and had been with me my entire life. I'll deal when she does die, but thinking she was going to sent me into a spiral of depression, trying to sort my emotions. But she made a dramatic turnaround and is back to normal now, though she's skin and bones (We knew she was sick when she stopped eating. Mariah used to be the fattest cat alive, old age has made her skinny, but when she lost weight so rapidly and stopped eating every ten seconds...)
So, yeah, pretty much a horrible last two weeks. I have a lot to catch up on, including comic reviewing,
Oh, and Barack Obama's gonna speak at our high school on Sunday! The local news interviewed my entire Women's History class about it. I missed a prime oppurtunity to bash Sarah Palin in the interview when asked about women in politics. I just babbled that it's good women are getting more involved in the big leagues, including Palin and Clinton. *headdesk* I inadvertantly complemented her, agh! Why?
(If you are Republican/conservative and disagree with my immense hatred of certain canidates, I really don't care and don't want to argue about it on this blog, since it is supposed to be about comics and my zany antics!)
(Feel free to agree with me, though!)
(Yes, I am being blatantly intolerant and I love it!)
I'm torn on going to see Barack. I don't want to miss that oppurtunity, but the entirety of Asheville will be there. I mean it, everyone is going, we are a militant patch of blue in the red state of NC, so everyone loves Obama. I doubt I'll be able to get in, even if I arrive ten hours early.
I'll find a sneaky way to get in, I suppose.
Anyway, signing off, like I said, tons to catch up on!
