Fanart of the Batgirl and Wonder Woman variety- also Oscars!
Saw the Oscars at the theatre with the Cinnabarre. Neal Patrick Harris, I want to have your babies. Alec Baldwin, you are hilarious. FIRST FEMALE DIRECTOR AND BEST PICTURE WINNER SUCK IT HOLLYWOOD! Also, the girl who played Precious is so adorable, I just want to hug her forever. I feel the Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart's little introduction would have been infinitely less awkward if Lautner had ripped off his shirt. Also WTF was Bella and Jacob staring soulfully doing int the horror montage? The only way Twilight belongs with horror is if it's a clip of Edward saying "I like to watch you sleep".
All in all, an infinitely entertaining Oscars.
But forget all that, I have fanart of Steph, Cass and Babs all in class together that I did way back when Batgirl #1 came out but just got around to inking and coloring!
Yes, the Batgirls in class together! Babs is of course a complete nerd and all eager to show off her smarts- it could not be more painfully obvious I used Batgirl: Y1 for reference. I also gave a hint to her future as Oracle, obvs. Cass is trying to read the Bat-Math Book but is encountering a barrier...Steph is bored and doodling Batman symbols just like the scene from Batgirl #1 this little peice of art was inspired on. I didn't add the stripes and bat-symbol to her outfit until her costume was unveiled a week or so later, but I was pleased that putting her in a T-shirt over long sleeves turned out to be a very good plan in regards to costume imitation.
I'm going to finish inking Black Lantern Spoiler and Batgirls tomorrow- I also did a little sketch of Batgirl!Steph during Oscar commercials that will need inking, cuz it's time I had some Steph!Batgirl fanart under my belt that wasn't her in plainclothes or as a zombie.
Also, with this sketchy little comic strip, I go as far in the opposite direction of Bruce/Diana and Clark/Diana as I can!
Yeeeeeahhh! I might color this later.
