(no subject)
So the "expensive" repair for my flute is in reality $18. The lady said she'll look at it and give me a call concerning what else is in need of repair so I can decide whether or not to have them done. I know the pads need replacing which I don't think is very costly. The guy who was working there made the comment that once the flute is repaired maybe we'd discover that I'm really a brilliant musician. I found this quite amusing but am really excited to have a flute that doesn't fall apart. Plus the two people at the Auburn Musician were funny and awesome.
The Auburn excursion was quite fruitful. Cassie1 got the shoes she needed and (sadly) the 10 minutes we spent in Payless ended with me buying some nice dress shoes that I probably don't need. But they were pretty. I found everything I needed at Wally world plus Wayne's World 2 which I'm excited about as I've never seen it.
