No day is complete until I have confused/terrified total strangers.
I waited until after Qualitative to change into my pirate outfit as prior to class I had a meeting with the grad student who's teaching religion here part time. She was able to give me some insight as to how to go about looking for grad schools and said to tell her when I want to go to Syracuse for a day and she can help set that up so I can meet people. There's a religion conference in April there that I really want to go to but it's the same weekend as spring weekend. I may still be able to go to part of it. I mentioned it to Olson and he said Wells might cover the fee.
Club fair went pretty well. I plundered a lollipop and a condom. We had 20 people put their names down to be in the club. And I went to the Board of Trustees reception and got weird looks (still dressed as a pirate at that point) and explained about the new club. People always ask why and want an answer other than 'because'. I think that's a perfectly reasonable explination.
And the biggest news of the day- I am moving to Main 313 next weekend. No idea if it's a single or a double but either way, it's bigger than the one I have.
