Taken from a friend of mine: Dire
"A recent altercation with a friend has left me curious as to how the rest of you view having a fursuit of another sex. My stance on it is that I consider it a form of cross-dressing. My reasoning being that any time you wear clothing (or in this case a gendered fursuit) of the other sex, regardless of the motivation, it is inherently cross-dressing. Cross-dressing is first and foremost the act of opposing societal norms of dress. It may also be the way an individual expresses their sexuality or gender/sex preference, but you couldn't successfully do this is if there wasn't an agreed upon social norm to violate in the first place.
So what do you think? Is having a fursuit that is the opposite sex of the individual inside cross-dressing or not?"
So what do y'll think about it? I am rather curious as well. Explain!
