Title: Claws (no soft fingertips) [AO3]
Rating: T
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Megatron/Starscream
Word Count: 2,957
Genre: H/C, romance, established relationship, Bayverse AU
Warning(s): mild angst
Summary: After the fight in the shadows of the pyramids, Starscream is left behind, presumed dead. Sounds draw near - is that the transformation of an enemy? Or...?

Excerpt:

Starscream’s spark pulsed heavily, almost laboring, sending rattling vibrations up and down his frame. It took over almost all of his senses, since most of his external sensor net was fried - or reporting gibberish input.

Starscream could not transform. Could not even so much as get up under his own power. He felt helpless - he hated it. Only one being was allowed to instill that feeling in him.

Title: Familiar Touch [AO3]
Rating: T
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Prowl/Optimus; Ratchet, Wheeljack
Word Count: 1,120
Genre: H/C, established relationship, G1
Warning(s): mild angst
Summary: Optimus Prime was rescued from Decepticon captivity, but he didn't escape unscathed...

Excerpt:

The sharp tang of energon filled the med bay, drifting like a fine mist in the air around the downed frame. The bright blue fluid dripped from ruptured cables, trickled from seams in heavy armor plating. Busted wires threw sparks; smoking; mixing with the stench of fried circuitry.

The barely conscious mech, blue and red-flamed paintjob charred almost beyond recognition, jerked on the berth. He tried in vain to avoid the prodding servos, in no state of processor to understand that Ratchet only meant to help.

Title: Familiar Pattern [AO3]
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Prowl/Optimus; Jazz
Word Count: 2,004
Genre: H/C, established relationship, G1
Warning(s): none
Summary: Whispers and rumors circle within the Ark...
[Sequel to: Familiar Touch]

Excerpt:

Every time another city state fell, a mission went wrong or a victory came at such a high cost that it turned into bitter defeat for those left behind to mourn the lost.

It would start with whispers, fueled by the constantly circulating rumors - emotionless, sparkless, a drone.

Whispers would turn into accusations: How can he be so unaffected, so cold, without regret; just going on? Are we nothing more than data to be processed, numbers, pieces on a game board, to be moved around?

Title: Glimpses - Sparkling I Ch.1 I Ch.2 I [AO3]
Rating: T
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Kup, Hot Rod, OCs
Word Count: 8,338 (WIP)
Genre: family, friendship, kid!fic, fluff, G1/Bayverse fusion, H/C
Warning(s): mild angst, mild depictions of violence
Summary: A distress call leads Kup and his small unit of Wreckers to the energon freighter ‘Titania’. A lone sparkling survived the pirate attack and takes a liking to the old 'bot...

Excerpt:

Energon flooded from the deep cut, as the vibro-dagger tore through rusted armor plates like oilcake. The grip around Kup’s torso loosened. Reversing his hold on the blades hilt, he drove it deeper, now able to put his weight to good use.
Blue-white light spilled forward from the breached spark chamber and with a last, hollow screech, the light faded in those bright red optics.

As soon as the mech was off-lined, something small darted over to Kup and lunged at him. Fighting against basic programming, he stood perfectly still, only deactivating his dagger.

The fragile silver protoform of the sparkling clung to his kneecaps. The young child whined in distress, clearly terrified out of its processor. Its small, blunt servos found the gaps between Kup’s armor plates with expert precision. Twisting and turning sensitive wires, they disrupted the flow of lubricant to his leg.

Title: Backup [AO3]
Rating: K
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Kup, Rodimus Prime
Word Count: 1,472
Genre: friendship
Warning(s): none
Summary: A cliff, confidence issues, a weapon and prep talk...

Excerpt:

As far as a ‘bots optics could see, a desolate Cybertronian wasteland stretched out, till it fused with the horizon. Rodimus’ bright coloring stood out against the dirty yellow and gray of sand and debris. He was pacing back and forth, with the nervous energy and desperation of a caged animal.

Title: Symmetry in Contrasts [AO3]
I Ch. 1 I Ch. 2 I Ch. 3 I Ch. 4 I Ch. 5 I Ch. 6 I Ch. 7 I Ch. 8 I Ch. 9 I
Rating: K - T
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Prowl/Optimus Prime; Ratchet, Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Sari, Prof. Sumdac, Dinobots
Word Count: 17,287 (WIP)
Genre: friendship, family, H/C, canon-AU, romance, humor, fluff, action
Warning(s): mild angst, mild depictions of violence
Summary: From strangers to teammates, from friends to lovers...

Excerpt:

Everyone was gathered in the main room, either watching TV or Prowls on-going training session. Surprisingly, the latter took place right in front of their optics and not in his room, which, according to Sari, resembled a Japanese karate dojo.

Optimus took that as a good sign, having noticed small changes in the ninjabots behavior ever since their random ‘midnight talks’ and the recent fight against Meltdown. - But he could not shake off the weird feeling of dread in his spark that this peaceful evening would soon come to an abrupt end.

Optimus wasn’t much of a ‘soothsayer’, as humans called it, but the way Bumblebee watched Prowl, got up from the couch and stalked over to the mech just spelled trouble in a way no ‘bot could possibly miss.

Bumblebee and Circuit-Su training had always meshed, even back in space, - just in the wrong way.

Title: Meeting Halfway I Ch. 1 I
Rating: M
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Swiftstrike (OC)/Skywarp; Thundercracker, Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave
Word Count: 3,449 (WIP)
Genre: G1/Bayverse fusion AU, H/C, angst, dark, action, romance
Warning(s): depictions of violence, non-con
Summary: A Seeker and a Grounder... Does anyone doubt that there will be trouble? Not to forget a war is not quite a romantic background, and neither are trine-bonds something to trifle with...

Excerpt:

A stack of medical supplies rattled and shook, the straps securing it loosened and snapped back, like red whips. The noise startled the spindly drones. Bleeping pitiful in their panic, they abandoned their duty and darted over to the wall. There they slid into their housings and logged into their recharge stations.

Only the tools scattered around the cargo bay betrayed their off-schedule activity. Swiftstrike knew better than to try and recall them, his repairs were mostly finished anyway. He stood slowly, mindful of staying behind the cover of the containers, carefully testing the strength of his left pede. Flexing artificial muscles and rotating the knee joint, he was satisfied with the sensor feedback.

Swiftstrike let the thin armor plates slide back down, to cover the patched up tubing and freshly replaced circuitry. Traces of oil and coolant dried around the affected area, giving the dull plates a glossy sheen.

He could feel the spot under the gray isolation paste heat up as his self-repair system rebooted and the nanites roused to begin their work. - It would last a transformation or two, but a fight was out of the question for now. And he was too far away from the next exit to leave the hangar unnoticed, limping as he would be.

Title: Lasting Patchjob I Ch. 1 I Ch. 2 I [AO3]
Rating: T
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Sideswipe/Prowl; Sunstreaker, Ratchet, Optimus, Ironhide
Word Count: 5,128 (WIP)
Genre: friendship, H/C, romance, Bayverse/G1 fusion AU, friends to lovers
Warning(s): character death, mild angst, mild depictions of violence
Summary: A tragic loss brings two 'bots together who seem to have nothing in common...

Excerpt:

He could hear Sunny’s muffled curses as his yellow paintjob began to darken. Cybertronians were fighting each other, extinguishing sparks and keening cries of pain all around them. And the Autobots’ mission objective was going out in blue tinted flames, - and his bro was only worried for his looks... Sweet Primus, you just had to love the narcissistic slagger!

Sideswipe risked a quick glance around his cover and flashed Sunny a knowing grin, feeling his own rush of excitement echoed in his spark.

The comm. link burst to life with frantic shouts and bellowed orders:

”Unit 3, fall back -”

”Third line of defense breached. All troops, retreat to assembly point -”

”Shocktroopers! Holy Primus - they’re breaking through at -”

Title: Ringelpiez mit Anfassen
Rating: K
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Thundercracker/Skywarp, Megatron/Starscream
Word Count: 438
Genre: humor, Bayverse, missing scene
Warning(s): none
Summary: How to flirt when you’re a Seeker? Why, you dance, of course!

Excerpt:

Even a drone had to have more sense in its processor than a love struck Starscream!

Title: Back in the Game [AO3]
Rating: T
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Borderline (OC), Megatron, Starscream, Airachnid, Soundwave
Word Count: 1676
Genre: episode tag, TFP canon-AU
Warning(s): mild angst
Summary: Starscream is in the hand of the Autobots - who will go and rescue him? A new arrival may just be perfect for the job, him being an experienced assassin - and former SIC to Megatron...

Excerpt:

As soon as the door had closed behind her, Borderline stepped out into the dim light - a shadow emerging from darkness. His two sensor filaments streamed out around him like crimson ribbons, gathering all kinds of data from his surroundings, no doubt.

The movement startled Soundwave, as the main screen he worked at caught the reflection. With a click of alarm he turned around, visor going blank. Seeing the 'intruder', his wings fluttered in subdued excitement and his helm inclined in respectful greeting.

”Soundwave. We'll talk about your security measures at a later time,” Borderline stated matter of fact, before his six elliptic optics turned to Megatron. ”I'm back, my lord.”

Title: To Perceive and to See [AO3]
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Perceptor/Firecracker (OC); Bumblebee, Jazz, others
Word Count: 2,051
Genre: established relationship, sparkbond, friendship, humor, fluff
Warning(s): none
Summary: Absence makes the world turn gray; Return make it brighter...

Excerpt:

The irrational pressure of stillness around and within him was a cacophony - it felt wrong. Buzzing and sizzling, it filled his audio receptors with its ugly intensity.

Even worse: it alone was vivid.

Perceptor felt the UV-rays of Earth's sun heating his plating. But the sensation scratched only at the surface and was not able to make its way deeper, where he felt chilled.

Title: Cozy Place [AO3]
Rating: K
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Prowl, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe
Word Count: 509
Genre: fluff
Warning(s): none
Summary: Prowl comes out of recharge, surrounded by warmth...

Excerpt:

But be that as it may, the tactician, still half in recharge, doubted that to be the reason for his slowed down response time. He attributed it more to the cozy warmth surrounding his frame.

One source pressed itself between his relaxed, splayed doorwings, while the other was right there in his arms. Prowl's quarters were filled with the quiet hum and whir of powered down Cybertronian bodies - his own echoed the two others, synchronized in harmonious familiarity.

Title: Stabilizing Factor I Ch. 1 I [AO3]
Rating: T
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Rodimus Prime/Kup; Springer, Arcee, Ratchet, Optimus, others
Word Count: 2291 (WIP)
Genre: AU, Bayverse/G1 fusion, dark, romance, friendship
Warning(s): non-con, forced sparkbond, character death(s), angst, depictions of violence
Summary: They say that the road to hell is paved with good intentions...

Excerpt:

The sharp stench hit him like a slap as he chocked. It almost seemed to symbolize his weakness. To engage had been his decision, his mistake - why had the others paid the price for his rashness?!

Kup, ever the voice of reason, had tried to caution him. He’d suggested they retreat or observe and wait for backup because something had been off about that Decepticon unit: their movements, their vacant optics, their rudimentary armor, and the weird box shapes attached to them.

Kup had said, “You’re our Prime. Your spark no longer belongs to you alone, lad.”

Title: A First Time for Everything
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Optimus Prime/Prowl; Jazz
Word Count: 1,033
Genre: friends to lovers, G1, canon-AU, romance, kid!fic, character piece
Warning(s): none
Summary: First meetings develop into more for two bots, even though they started out with prejudices...

Excerpt:

Their first meeting had not been a favorable one. Prowl had felt illogical disappointment over the fact that the newly risen Prime was as prejudiced as Sentinel had been, at least where pre-programmed mechs were concerned.

This new Prime was... inadequate. Since he had been a dock worker, he didn't have any military background or political knowledge, and struggled to settle into his new role. He was hardly the leader in times of war that the Autobots had hoped for. While he was truly inspirational at times and driven by good intentions, Optimus Prime lacked the required abilities to back those up.

Prowl did not approve of the Council's choice, but he accepted it. All of the shortcomings he registered in the new Prime were logical. They were to be expected and could have been easily alleviated, had Optimus more faith in the right 'bots to compensate.

Title: Countermeasures [AO3]
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Prowl, Jazz, Optimus, others
Word Count: 1,267
Genre: friendship, humor, G1
Warning(s): none
Summary: Work seems to elude Prowl this cycle and Jazz is a miracle worker...
[Prompt Fill]

Excerpt:

Prowl's doorwings sagged in unmasked relief as he finally reached his quarters. He considered for a nanoklick to go further and get himself his energon ration, but thought better of it; instead, he keyed his door open.

It swished shut behind him - had he locked it? - and Prowl staggered to his recharge berth, his optics already powering down.

Facing the other way, the overworked SIC was blissfully oblivious to the dark shade lurking within the corridors' shadows that watched him with an unhappy frown. Which was probably for the best, seeing as that grimace was soon replaced with a devious grin.

Title: A Good Friend
Rating: PG
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Ratchet, Prowl
Word Count: 1,055
Genre: friendship, G1
Warning(s): none
Summary: During war time, it isn't easy being a medic. The things you see...

Excerpt:

But Primus knows - it was, and is, never enough. It always came down to the one mech he couldn't save. And now they fight in a war, so the numbers of the lost multiply.

Title: Eyes And Optic's See Things
Rating: K
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Prowl/Optimus; Ratchet, Sari
Word Count: 568
Genre: family, friendship
Warning(s): none
Summary: Ratchet was not sparked yestervorn...

Excerpt:

Still - you shuttered your optics and missed it and it reeked pretty much of 'friendship only' for a long while. Ratchet himself had only connected the dots in hindsight.

Title: Ceremony [AO3]
Rating: K
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Kup, Rodimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, others
Word Count: 689
Genre: canon-AU, TF-The Movie, friendship, family, H/C
Summary: Ceremony - a formal act or series of acts prescribed by ritual, protocol, or convention...
[Prompt Fill]

Excerpt:

“The ceremony will soon begin - where is Rodimus?”

“I haven't seen him since the mission,” Springer said, while he helped Daniel up to reach a banner.

Kup huffed but decided to take pity on them. He handed his data-pad over to Arcee. “I'll look for him. If we're late you'll have to improvise.”
