In the year 2006 I resolve to:
To wrestle an aligator.
Get your resolution here Christmas and my birthday were awesome, despite being sick. My parents "gave" me my sidekick by not making me pay for it so I'm a happy girl. Lots of good food and not *too* annoying family, it was a good Christmas.
Sooo many people came out for my birthday, I was so touched! Especially since it was a Wednesday night. I saw Erica, Fannie, Shawna, Alanna, Amber, Nicole, Val, Rachel, Joi, Randy, Maggie, Maier, Suzanne, Megan, Dara, Kara, Danielle, my sister and her friends, and the "famous" Danny, who Erica *finally* got to meet, haha... It was great! Alanna got me a subscription to US Weekly which is perfect cause I've been slacking on the celebrity gossip. And Nicole got me some preety gold accessories from Urban. And I got a funny card from Rachel, hehe. I didn't pay for one drink and I got that perfect amount of happy-drunk without getting sick or doing anything stupid, haha. Thanks if you bought me a drink or shot, I can't even remember, lol. What a great night.
Last night I had holiday gift exchange dinner with Erica, Shawna, and Fannie and it was so much fun. That BBQ chicken sandwich needs to be in some kind of good food hall of fame. Some holiday gift highlights include a gorgeous necklace and kurt halsey print from Fannie, the Robbie Williams CD and a gift card from Shawna, and a box 'o fun including new sidekick bumpers and the hanson and gch CDs and another pretty necklace from Erica. Yay presents! But the best present was finally hanging out with them, those 4 girls are my anchors, I dunno what I'd do without them in my life. Probably go insane.
On another note, the day after my birthday I went to my great aunt Florence's funeral. She was 90 years old and lived a good, long life so its not too upsetting that she died. It is sad because she's my grandma's sister and my cousin's grandma though. It was a very sad funeral but very beautiful. This is the first birthday when I didn't get a card in the mail with a check in it for my birthday, she almost treated me like one of her grandchildren. I'm sad I haven't seen her the past few years cause she's been in Florida. She was a wonderful lady and she will definitely be missed. RIP Aunt Florence. <3
I don't know WHAT I'll do when my grandma dies, thank God she's healthier than me, haha.
Anyways, right now I'm in the car with my parents on my way upstate. I'm fairly certain I don't have phone or sidekick internet service up there but I do have it at the ski mountain so I'll be around. Cross your fingers that I don't make friends with any trees ;o) I'll be back Monday, peace out kids!
