I really haven't updated in a really long time. Things are going ok. The assistant manager at my bank walked out last week. This woman was the heart of the branch that I work in. And she walked out because she was sick of being treated disrespectfully. I don't blame her. *plus, she got a sweet job offer with one of our customers.* When the heart of a company leaves... what are you left with? Not a whole lot.

The woman who is doing her job, is an absolute bitch. She talks to me like I'm 12 years old and don't know how to do my job. My Branch Manager is on Vacation. I want to shoot myself in the head.

Instead, I decided to apply for a job within the company. PLEASE everyone, wish me the MOST luck with this. I probably won't get it because I don't have enough experience. But honestly, when I turned in my resume and cover letter, I was pretty damn proud of myself. If you'd like to read the cover letter, you can read it

Ms. Candice Cambridge
Consumer Lending
Commerce Bank
106 N. Main St.
Forked River, NJ
08731

Dear Ms. Cambridge,

Thank you for considering me for the position of Consumer Loan Representative in the Shore region of Commerce Bank. With one year of servicing consumer loans under my belt, I felt that it was appropriate to apply for this position, and are therefore contacting you about this opportunity.

While working at Commerce Bank I have, I feel, been successful in efficiently managing many tasks at one time. As you know, there are many different facets to the job that I am currently doing, and while each of them are just as important as the other, Consumer Loans are my passion. While I have only been with Commerce Bank (And banking in general) for one year, I feel that I have excelled with loans, and would like to make them my main task.

Again, thank you for considering me for the position of Consumer Loan Representative in the Shore region of Commerce Bank. Having worked in a very loan heavy Branch of Commerce Bank, I feel that I am familiar enough with them to hit the ground running. I look forward to hearing from you about arranging an interview. In the meantime, if I can provide you with any additional information, please do not hesitate to call me at 609-693-1600, or e-mail me at amanda.mckenney@yesbank.com.

Sincerely,

Amanda N. McKenney

Granted, it's short. It's to the point. But I felt good about it. (So please don't pick it apart. I can't take it right now.) I really hope I get it.

Wedding plans are coming along. I sent out the Save-The-Date cards this week. WHOO HOO!!!!!!!!!

Alright. The End.
