Things I Love Thursday!
Things I Love Thursday, idea courtesy of the gorgeous and brilliant Gala Darling, is a weekly list of everything I've loved this week. You should make a list, too, and sent it back to me! <3 (Even if it isn't Thursday any more by the time you get this.)
+These photos of Cinema Bizarre makes me so happy. They all look SO GOOD.
+I'm not normally one for velvet blazers, but Kiro's looks so good in the first one (Kiro is their bassist; he's twenty-one; he's the one in the purple velvet blazer). I also really like the intensity of his face in that shot, and Strify's expression is just gorgeous - all heavy-lidded and sexual. (Strify is their vocalist; he's twenty; he's the one right next to Kiro.)
+In the second one, I love Romeo's outfit (top far right. The pocket chain gives it an especially nice effect. Romeo is twenty; he's their keyboardist. He replaced their original keyboardist, Luminor, when Luminor became unable to carry on with the project. <3 I did see an interview in which Luminor said he wanted to keep on in music, though.). I also like the casualness of Kiro's posture, especially the way it's carried by his shoes. They're a really subtle touch, but I think they tie his look together. And Strify's posture. I love how predatory he looks. And I really like Shin's jacket; it creates a nice contrast with the paleness of his hair. (Shin is the one in the middle in the back. He's nineteen; he's their percussionist; and he seems like he's really tall.)
+In the third one, I like the blurring effect at the bottom of the photo. The effect on Kiro's pants and Romeo's and Yu's chains is really cool, and I really like the way the red in Yu's hair looks against the black of the background. (Yu is the one on the far left. He's twenty; he's their guitarist.) And they all just have such awesome body language in this photo. I love the way Yu's arms are crossed, and his expression.
+The last one is just so cute! I love the headphones and the facial expressions and the streaks of make-up across Strify's face and Romeo's cuffs, holy crap. Yu's are awesome, too, but Romeo's are just a little better; I think part of it is the contrast of the black. Strify's slight frizz is adorable, and I love how subtly his glove comes off.

+My handwriting on my summer homework math notes. I'm very heart-on-sleeve, and this extends to my handwriting. When I'm tensed, it's tiny, tight, and messier. My hand writing is large, loopy, and neat.
+Creating a P.O.D. station on Pandora.com. It's playing a lot of songs I know and love and haven't heard in about a billion years. Good stuff. It's also playing some stuff that I forgot I knew, which is awesome.
+Quinn Allman's former bad bleach job. It was sexy, not gonna lie.
+Somebody using a part of our convo as an away message! This always makes my day. My goal is to have an away message (on AIM) with everybody I IM by the end of the summer.
+Songs that make me sit up straighter in my chair and chair-dance like a total idiot.
+Suicides! (Not people killing themselves, mixed sodas.) Omg, Erin. I still remember going to Burger King in, like, seventh grade on that field trip to the movies (or was that eighth grade? We went to see that movie where the chick had a crush on the older version of her brother before she knew he was the hot older version of her brother.) and you made kamikazes for everybody. I still call them that, bb. That was awesome.
+A new episode of CB.TV (Cinema Bizarre TV; sorry I never shut up about them) premiered today. This video was of Yu, with Romeo sitting on a couch in the background, and it was very cute. I love his pseudo-British accent. And Romeo's comments from his Twitter: "Damn i look stupid in this video o.O wtf was wrong me ...?"
