Didn't she do well?

Ok...I fluffed a few times, first time nerves don't you know, but in a giant leap forward in my anxiety treatment I managed to carry on without melting into a pool  of panic ridden goo.....and I managed to keep a smile on my face!

We decided to do the second performance as well, so twice the opportunity for terror, but I coped, so go me!!

We were late on as well [these things never run on time, I wonder if that's because Gaynor can be quite vague at times?], so all of you out there praying for me missed it by 15 minutes, but never mind!

I go presents too! I impressed my mum so much that she bought me a hip scarf [lovely lilac, embroidered with roses and covered in gold coins] and some loose coins that I can customise stuff with! Huzzah!

Anne [the only one to come through with the promise my workmates all made to actually come to the performance] took some pictures, which I will try to get copies off, and there will be a dvd eventually, although Gaynor hasn't received the dvd for the November hafla yet, so I don't kow how long this one will take to arrive. We'll continue to chase it.

All in all it wasn't bad...had a bit of a boogie at the disco at the end, reminding me that I do miss hitting the dancefloor every now and then. Also, got to chat quite a bit with Terrie, and we've provisionally agreed to go to the Goddess camp together, and possibly salsa classes. I'm really pleased also that Terrie's suggested we get together after Easter to watch dvds and generally hang out, which is yay for me, because she's a lovely person and I wanted to make friends out of my class, and so I have!!

All I have to make sure of now is that I don't replay my mistakes last night over and over in my head.....that will be a giant leap forward!
