Grace and Madison:
I am not afraid or ashamed to write this, because you know that I am not writing this to be malicious and I have no ill-will toward either of you. You're probably sick of hearing this, but I don't care - because I care.
SHUT THE HELL UP AND LISTEN TO YOURSELVES. Do you have any idea how beautiful you are? I constantly catch myself watching you both, just because I see a different shade of beauty everytime I see you. God blessed you both with good looks, astonishing smiles, and good hearts. You don't even realize how many girls wish they looked like you.
Read your last journal entries before this one. What did they say? They made at least ONE reference to the amount of calories you ate that day or night. CUT IT OUT ALREADY. I'm sick of this calorie talk, because you're making yourselves sick over it.
If you're having problems taking a shit, there's something wrong with the way you're eating. If you begin to memorize how many calories are in foods, there's something wrong with the way you're thinking. If you hide your face when you eat, there's something wrong with the way you see yourself. And it scares the shit out of me.
I totally understand that you want to eat healthily. No problem with that. But you are letting it encompass every encounter you have with food. You are teenagers, and you will gain and lose and gain and lose and gain and lose weight no matter how many calories you eat.
I realize that it's destination: beautiful. But remember that if you're beautiful on the inside, you will always be beautiful on the ouside. Your personalities make you beautiful, not the fact that you lost 10 pounds or you wear brightly-colored makeup. Nobody cares what you look like or how much food you eat or how many calories you eat or how long or what color your hair is or if you can see your hip bones when you're standing or if you eat white wheat or rye or if you go running everyday or if your style is unique or how many pictures you post on the internet. You're obsessed with your appearance, weight and style-wise, and you shouldn't be. You say you're not but you're not fooling me.
Just remember: you will be beautiful no matter how many calories you eat in a morning, in a day, in a week, in a year, and in the rest of your existance.
BE SECURE WITH HOW YOU LOOK, BECAUSE YOU LOOK JUST FINE. JUST STOP. PLEASE.
