(no subject)
It's four in the morning and here I sit reading journal entries, I wake up at three in the morning and can't go back to sleep. I took two advil for a headache that actually woke me up and some Dimetapp hoping it will make me drowsy. Kristens' court date came and went and everything was dropped except the speeding ticket. I lost $56 in jail fees, which doesn't make any sense. If you are imprisoned because of a state court error, shouldn't they have to refund that money or for that matter, pay her for pain and suffering? The answer is no. I have to wait four to six weeks for the one thousand dollar bail I posted. The system is not very nice.
Dave, my nine year old, has been enmeshed in Harry Potters' fifth book. He read it (879 pages in two weeks) He puts his little glasses on and reads for hours. He's pretty endearing to me. Daniel is playing football a million hours a week, going to seminary and doing homework. He goes nonstop all day.
Did I mention that my brother is a saint? Sometimes I don't deserve him. I hope my dad goes and visits him every week!
