[It's not for Christmas shopping this year that the Master is round about the City. He's just making several trips around; back and forth to where he works, for one. But mainly he's hoping to find the TARDIS while the Doctor's not in it. If he could break into the TARDIS...well. The sky's the limit as far as he's concerned and the Doctor's hardly ( Read more... )

hopefully fooling somebody?, the master misses his tardis, gifting attempts, affected by curse, action, the doctor, unashamed

Hiyori is walking back from the Hall of the Missing, paying some attention to her surroundings now that she knows what curse day it is, but still not as much as she should be, considering her preoccupation.

She does see the Master, though, and briefly considers going over to say hi. She also not so briefly considers blowing right past him.

The Master sees her trying to go past, and she is still rather a source of amusment to him. Or, at least he knows she can be counted upon to be amusing. So when she tries to ignore him, he smiles brightly at her and says, "Oh, hello, Hiyori." Loudly.

Any gratuitous loudness is seen as genuine. After all, it's been a while since she's seen him. And- well, his hair's changed, maybe he's changed a bit as well. She can't help but smile a little; she knew him through a few people who she's been missing, lately. Normally she wouldn't be this stupid, you know, probably, but she's hopeful, and kind of lonely.

"Hi, Harry!" She starts walking towards him.

Not very far, mind you, she's not completely insane yet.

Ha. Well. That's a new reaction to him from Hiyori. The question is, is it an interesting one? The Master heads towards her as she does likewise, wanting to meet her halfway.

"How have you been keeping yourself? I haven't seen you for quite some time, have I?"

Okay, now she's starting to get a little creeped out again. There's something about that inflection . . . but maybe that's just her overreacting.

"Uh, well. I've been sorta out of it lately. I haven't really been so involved in anything. How have you been?"

Oh GOOD. Hiyori being creeped out is what's FUN about Hiyori.

"I've been well, even if it has been business as usual."

Pleasantries. Hey. You know what would be not pleasant at all even more pleasant? That mistletoe growing into the area over their heads. Which it is doing. Right now. Oh dear.

That is roughly three quarters of Hiyori when the Master is around.

"Oh, that's good to hear." Pause. "Isn't business as usual usually good?" She asks that about a millisecond before she realizes that she probably doesn't want to know the answer. What was business as usual with him? And she's pretty distracted, so that mistletoe? Going unnoticed.

"I wouldn't say so," says the Master. "Not in the City." And with stunning sense of timing, the mistletoe reaches its preferred place above their heads and the Master reaches over, pulls Hiyori close to him and kisses her.

Hey, is Hiyori even legal? Oh well. It doesn't matter now.

Wonderful. Now she's been kissed by both halves of the Harry/Lucy relationship. EXCEPT THAT SHE MEANS NOT WONDERFUL AT ALL! And she's 19, damnit, but does that even matter when Harry's hundreds of years old? Does the proportion change with something like that?

AHHH WHO CARES!? SHE'S BEING KISSED HERE, BY THE MASTER, HOLY CRAP FREAKING OUT HERE! And thanks to the curse, she can't help but kiss back before she pulls away.

And then she kind of just screams.

"AUGH!"

The Master isn't really sure WHAT to think about this. Until Hiyori's reaction, of course, which, sorry to say, makes him laugh. A lot. He tries not to at first but it is frankly hilarious. Well. At least to him, it is.

"Whoops!" he manages to say eventually. "Sorry!"

Oh my god, she hates you right now. Why are you laughing. You suck. She finally does manage to find her ability for coherent speech, though, and it turns up yelling.

"THAT HAD BETTER BE BECAUSE OF THE CURSE!"

Still smirking like an annoying smirky thing, the Master points upwards at the mistletoe.

"Of course it is. Calm down."

If she were at a keyboard, she would be keysmashing. In all caps, too! But she isn't, so she has to settle for just. Flailing. Madly.

"I KNOW IT IS, BUT I HAD TO BE SURE! THAT'S WHY I KISSED BACK! I'M ALSO AFFECTED!"

And yelling. Did we mention yelling? There's yelling. Lots of it. She seems to be unable to control it, in fact. Statements are coming out loudly.

This is TOO MUCH FUN.

"Oh yes?" says the Master, finally managing to curtail his laughter and blink innocently at her. "You're certain it isn't anything to do with my overwhelming charm and charisma? Better women than you have fallen for it." Okay, he is just clearly screwing around with her now.

"THEN THERE'D HAVE TO BE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE THAT CHARM AND CHARISMA! BECAUSE THERE'S BEEN A LOT OF KISSING!" Let's not get into who's been doing the kissing.

"BETTER WO-" And now she's dissolved to just full-out flailing now.

"Ah, but I might be the exception," the Master points out cheerfully, folding his arms.
