I was trying to find out who sang this song I've heard a few times now...I saw it once but forgot. Found out it's Rise Against, "Swing Life Away." Good song.
Anyway, I found it by stumbling across some girl's journal who lives in Connecticut or NY or something. I was skimming through it...and saw this and thought it was brilliant. She was talking about how she has a year left of high school and how she's going to miss her friends who are leaving for college and stuff. She really reminded me of myself. Anyway, quote...
"And the truth is, the times when you do nothing extrodinary, is that times you have to cherish the most."
Is that not brilliant? It's so true. God I love my friends. They have made this the best summer of my life. Best TIME of my life, period. Abby especially. Without her...geez, I don't know. We've really connected since we've been in basically the same situation guy-wise. So we're both each others shoulders to cry on when things go awry.
Without her...and Chelsea...and Lauren...and Bob...and even Ashleigh, even though she hasn't been the best friend lately...I don't know. Things would just be a lot different for me. Even though I've had to make some tough decisions as of late, I have these people here to help me through it all. I wonder if they know how much they mean to me.
