Jordan sat at her usual table in the back corner of the Library, just outside the Restricted Books Section. Not a lot of people go into that section so she figured it was the best place to study without being interrupted. Plus, if anyone did ever go in there she'd know about it and it would satisfy her curiosity to glance over as they were coming out and see what book they were getting.
Today had been a relatively slow day in the library, though. Only one kid had gone into the Restricted section and they didn't bring anything out, and another kid, a young Hufflepuff boy, wondered into the back section completely lost. When he asked Jo where the books on Charms were she just raised a frustrated finger and pointed without lifting her eyes from the page she had clearly been distracted from. It had been ten minutes since the little lost boy had stumbled off and Jo had just started a good thought process when a shadow covered her table in its' shapely darkness.
"Oh no, don't worry, I wasn't using that light. I'm perfectly capable of working in complete darkness, but thanks for offering to move. You're a doll." She didn't raise her eyes when she spoke for fear of losing her place on the page. She figured after seven years at this school whoever it was had to be a friend and would take the comment lightly....or they were a complete git.
