just to put this whole Iraq war thing into perspective...
(as far as the money goes)

these are estimates as to how much money each american will pay in taxes for the war in Iraq:

the US has already spent about 400 million dollars for Iraq, which means that so far each american will end up spending 12,300 dollars in taxes on the war.

some people estimate that the war will end up costing at least 750 billion dollars, which means it would cost you almost 25,000 dollars in taxes.

many people think the war in Iraq will end up costing about 1.2 trillion dollars altogether. this means that in the end, each american will pay almost 40,000 dollars in taxes for the war in Iraq.

i mean, can i at least PICK where my taxes go? because i feel like there are many more important issues going on in the US rather than liberating some country that i never knew hardly anything about until "9/11" and now it is so important. i do not support the war in Iraq WHATSOEVER and i think it is bullshit that i will have to put my taxes towards something i do not care about and totally object. i mean, i could go on about this forever. i just wish i could like decide where my tax money went...like towards the environment or education. ya know, things i give a shit about.
