[One shivers, clinging to Corrin as they reenter the Hub. He slowly cracks an eye open, recognizing the familiar setting, sights and sounds of Hub-Gotham.]

[One waves a little as Corrin goes, listening to his breathing... just... to know he's still there, he squeezes Kon's hand back, taking a second before he nods]

Bath time... yeah.

[He gives Corrin a smile and a nod, then leads One into the bathroom, letting go of his hand so he can put the plug in the bath and turn on the water, adjusting it to the right temperature and putting in some bubble bath (bubbles are fun!)]

I'll be back in two seconds.

[He smiles reassuringly, then zips out to grab a towel and change of clothes for One, putting them on the closed toilet seat when he gets back]

[One crouches at the side of the tub, watching a little numbly as it fills up, staring at the rising bubbles, shaking badly as he loses focus again.]

Crap. [When he comes back and sees One, Kon crouches down next to him, running a hand up and down his back]

Hey, little brother, you're safe, it's okay.

[He gasps, whimpers, and curls up slightly, leaning against the tub as he fights for breath, tears rolling down his face]

W-was scared. S-so scared, and bad...

I know, I know you were. It's okay, now. You're safe here and no one's gonna hurt you again.

[He keeps his hand on One's back, but doesn't move to hug him properly, worried it might freak him out. He also reaches out with TTK to turn off the taps, so that the bath doesn't overflow]

W-was... was worse. I-I grew up... th-there, but.. but th-they took C-Corrin, and it... worse this time. D-don't want to go back.

[He sobs brokenly against the tub, hyperventilating and shaking] N-never w-wanna go.

You don't have to go back. You never have to go back there, I promise.

Me and Corrin are gonna keep you safe, and keep you away from that place. No one's gonna hurt you or Corrin again.

[He hiccups, gasps and nods, turning to cling at Kon, sobbing against his chest] O-o-okay.

[He wraps One up in a hug, rubbing little circles between his shoulders] It's okay, you're safe, you'll always be safe with us.

[It takes him a little while to be able to form words, he tries to muffle himself against Kon's shoulder before he slowly, slowly winds down to a soft whimper]

'm sorry...

[He waits patiently, just hugging One and murmuring comforting words. At the apology, he shakes his head]

It's okay, you have nothing to apologize for. You've been really brave so far, and it's okay to cry.

[He nods slowly, gripping him tightly]

I... I'm s-still. Scared...

That's alright. What happened was scary, and it's okay to be upset and scared and to cry.

But you're safe, and even if you take a little while to believe that, I'm gonna make sure it's true.

[He's not really sure if he can believe... much of that. That it's okay he's upset.. but he wants to believe he's safe. He wants to believe Kon that it's going to be okay.]

I... I-I still smell like there. I need... I should bath. I... [he shivers again and pulls at his shirt, whimpering more] I need to not smell like there.

Okay, let's get you into a bath. [He sticks his hand in the bath water to test the temperature, then turns on just the hot water. As he waits for the water, he looks to One to see how he's managing with his clothes.]
