mom and dad disappeared...and the phone rang
ten minutes later
he brought me lasagna...and we went for a walk
he bought me orange cream soda
and he held me in the rain
we listened to the water gush in the country sewer stream
and we smiled
as we walked back home
we stopped at his car
it was raining a bit more, and he proposed we dance
so we did.
he walked me to my door...and left me with the words
