I completely adore this fic. There is not enough awesome cheetah!fic in the world, but I can safely say that this fic brings the total up to at least one!

(awww, social grooming Master!)

Thanks! This was originally going to be very silly and cracky, but it turns out I take the Master's grooming instincts pretty seriously.

(Also, I think I can trace my image of the Master as a king cheetah back to one of your art posts, so some of this is your fault.)

I am honored to have contributed! The world needs moar cheetah.

(I think I need an AU where the Doctor gets cheetah'd and the Master shows up to stop him/gloat and then SURPRISE GROOMING!)

Aw, this is really quite sweet. Back to bad, but still thinking of the Doctor in his way. I've come around to seeing Seven/Ainley!Master as very shippy --- maybe the shippiest of them all --- and this little tale captures that shippiness quite nicely.

Thanks! Seven/Ainley!Master is very shippy - I can't watch practically any of Survival without seeing it.

I love it. It's hot, and I like your description of scientific research - black oil in the neck is a nice touch - oh, and the ending is excellent. The Master is still himself. :-)

Seven being himself, I think he guessed it was one of the possible outcomes and let himself be detained, because if the Master has this state of mind, the potential conversation would be useless and painful anyway.

Thank you! I think you're probably right re: Seven. He's not the sort of person who would waste time arguing if he knew it was pointless.
