Two hairwashings later and I still smell the riiver

What an incredible day.  Way to the awesome.  Annual company canoe trip and cookout and this year I was actually able to canoe!  I've not been in a canoe since I was just a wee tot so that was cool even the river is way low now (hence the river funk).  We only went a few miles on the easy bits because it was too shallow to do the shoals.  Nonetheless it was an excellent experience.  I just wish the Boo had wanted to go too but deep water is a no-no for him so meh.  He still had a good time at the cookout.

I only tipped over once at the beginning of the float so I consider that a success - got it out of the way early.  I'm glad I talked myself out of taking my camera for it would have been fuckered truly.

I've got to remember how fun this was and maybe look at a kayak - that would be bitchin.  And what a work out.  :)

Whew.  Tired and in need of some Ibuprofen.  Toodles.
