Well, maybe not. That water is frickin' cold this early in the morning! The hub went with me this morning - we took hot chocolate and a blanket and just sat on the rocks and listened to the water. I'm kicking myself in the ass because a gaggle of honking loud geese flew overhead and I couldn't get my fingers to move fast enough to flip to auto focus so I could shoot them. Figuring out aperture and shutterspeed for fog is a BITCH, lemme tell ya. And I missed a shooting a heron (I think that's what it is) in midflight. Kicking myself. Oh well, maybe next time. I plan to make it a regular thing - it's very relaxing. It was nice sitting in the cold silence of the fog, listening to ourselves breathe and watching the water flow around the rocks. A great way to start the day. Now the hub is napping on the couch and I'm playing with flickr. We're going to a local state park later to try to get some fall foliage shots. Then i think it's leftover pizza and beer - great way to end the weekend.
