So I ordered a bunch of jewelry for my eyebrow piercing about a month ago, and it finally came yesterday. I'm now wearing a 1/2'' diameter, 18ga, implant-grade titanium captive bead ring. The bead is blue! It's all very shiny and pretty and I quite like it. I also have a bunch of barbells and a 5/16'' diameter, 16ga CBR with a green bead that's pretty cool. Haven't tried it yet. Getting them in and then putting the bead back is hard. I always drop the little bastard and then I have to hunt around for it and wash it off again because I'm not letting something that just rolled around on the bathroom floor anywhere near the constant open wound in my face.
I also scraped paint off the front porch and then primed it today. For three hours. My arms are gonna hurt tomorrow, and it was stupid hot, but I always like it when I actually accomplish things. Then we went to the pool and hung out, then we came home, I took an almost-nap, and then we went to the Asian market and I got ingredients for yakisoba, which I am going to cook tomorrow. Whoo! Also, I got Pokemon SoulSilver--which is a stupid goddamn name, by the way. It cheapens my soul every time I say it--for thirty-five dollars (and my dignity) used, which is...six or seven dollars less than it would be new, so that's good. I suppose. I probably could've waited, but whatever. I'm a Pokewhore. Anyway, it's pretty bitchin', although it seems like everything after Ruby and Sapphire is a little slower and sort of dumbed down. I mean, it is aimed at kids, but the fact that I have to confirm a choice two or three times is a little annoying. It also seems like they just sort of crammed touchscreen functionality in there to make it worth making for the DS, which is also annoying. I don't need my entire menu on the bottom screen, guys; I can just hit start or x or whatever button you want me to press to open it up. Still, the graphics are sweet and my lead Pokemon walks behind me, which is adorable.
PS: Don't judge me.
